Purple Olive Lounge in Liverpool

First visit last night, the hottest day in history of the UK with a party if 9, so the air conditioning was so welcome. Fabulous visit from start to end decor, ambience, cleanliness, comfort, table linen all very good. All 9 of us chose different dishes with assistance from extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful waiter, he knew his menu well. Food was delicious and piping hot and all served together +++. The service was excellent, such a pleasure to be served by well trained, friendly and professional staff who actually appear to enjoy their job. I only caught one of their names, I think Dan but they were all amazing, thankyou all. A thoroughly enjoyable evening at a very reasonable cost, cannot recommend highly enough, thankyou so much.

Staying at the Premier Inn at Liverpool Airport and fancied an Indian and found this place 5 mins away, very modern decor and the most amazing food. The owner is a lovely man and nothing is too much trouble, give it a try, you will not regret it.

Very nice staff, the staff took time to explain the vegetarian meals and if they would be too spicy for me, enjoyed my vegetarian meal what was recommended for me

Rang multiple times at 7pm on a Friday night to order. Waited a while on auto hold each time - "the person you are calling knows you are waiting" - only for the call to eventually automatically hang up. Really wanted to try this place but don't go round putting leaflets through doors if you are going to ignore calls when it gets busy in-house!

I didn't know what to expect from an Indian restaurant far from the center, but it was a really nice.experience. Staff very friendly, nice menu (maybe a bit long as in all the Indian restaurants), food very tasty, a bit Indian food western style, but not exaggerated, so the overall experience was very interesting

Met with family from Manchester service really good, food was OK couple of issues with food being cold which was not good considering it wasnt that busy, didn't take any photos.

Had a lovely meal there for my dad's 81st birthday, all the staff brought out the cake we'd bought and sang happy birthday to him. 😍 He was made up. Food was gorgeous, we all loved it.

Booked a table for 11 people for Christmas day.We arrived to our table not even ready for us.Our drink order was not taken for over half an hour.3 of us didnt even have plates or cutlery and had to ask for them after our starters had been served.We literally felt like we were stuck in the corner out of the way.wrong food dishes were brought out for all 3 courses and the tables were not cleared before they brought out the next order.Indian meals were good but the turkey for the roast dinners was so dry it was all left and uneaten.I would have expected better service as it was Christmas day but our whole table seemed to be completely forgotten about.I come here all the time but I was disappointed.
