Salt Dog Slim's in Liverpool

Up stairs was nice had a cocktail master class which was good. Only down side to this place is communication we were an HR late arriving because of cancelled trains tried ringing, emailing and messaging as soon as we knew that we weren't going to arrive on time to no avail. So was a bit stressed when we finally got there as we had paid in full. But Luke was the best.

Tiny bar, amazing atmosphere, barstaff freehpouring jager into your face whilst they blast out punk rock tunes, Cannae fault it, doorstaff friendly even when trouble kicked off inside, felt like a fun safe place to end our night, cheers!

Dog friendly. Lots of very funny intentional graffiti everywhere, however the easily offended will be offended by some of the graffiti. We weren't!

Prices are a joke £25 for three single vodka and cokes!!

Lad behind the bar was a helmet throwing ice at us cos we were sat on top of the booths for 10 seconds just to get a picture

Very good cocktails but it was a lot busier than I thought a "secret" place would be. But it was Saturday night after all.

Great atmosphere and good hot dogs and drinks. Table service is available through a relatively easy to use app which is always good news. One of the tastiest and meatiest hot dogs I've had, a proper bockwurst style dog. Only issue here is when entering with face masks on were told by the bar staff that 'You don't have to wear face masks any more, you can take them off'. Didn't really know what to do as we chose, and continue to choose, to wear them and felt almost shamed into taking them off. How about letting people do their thing, if you want to wear them, let people wear them, and if you don't want to well thats fine too.

Very arrogant bar staff... Taking drinks when not finished. Ordered a sambuca shot, didn't believe me so checked my order on my phone and smelt a shot on the table (it was a tequila from another order). Also ordered 6 jagerbombes and only give the the jager. Never got that sambuca. The only thing it had going for the place was the music

Can be quite busy or pretty quiet depending on when you go. The cocktails are all fantastic. Definitely worth it.
