Food was ordered via Deliveroo, however when this arrived it was stone cold. The fruit (raspberries) that came with the cheesecake had mould on - complained to manager who was very apologetic. Told me I could get a refund via Deliveroo , however I was refunded a paltry £12.75 for a meal for two costing over £50. Sorry but a total waste of a night and we ended up eating a microwave meal - not impressed whatsoever.

It was our first time trying out this place and unfortunately we are gutted to not be returning. The food was not great at all cold not fresh and dry chicken. We felt like we had yesterday’s food warmed up slightly. £55 down the drain. The service was good I will say and the staff were very friendly too

AMAZING CHICKEN SUNDAY ROAST. Huge portions, every item on the platr was delicious. £12 for a meal not bad but totally worth it. The interior is cosy and trendy and the staff are very friendly. Will go back many more times!

Summary: Based on ordering from the Sunday Lunch Menu. Great portion size for the mains and the food was very tasty and very well presented. The person serving was helpful and friendly. The price was about average. Maybe could have had a mini pot of extra gravy served with the meal. Just for those gravy lovers out there. Overall though definitely a place to go for a decent Sunday Roast and if I lived in the area could imagine going as a regular. Some detail: So we were driving on the way to watch the afternoon Liverpool game and were browsing many places to have some lunch. We came across Spitroast and it was Sunday why not go for roast. The restaurant itself is just off the corner of the street. Now unfortunately if you are driving there is not any main street parking, not the restaurants fault. But you will have to find some parking on the side streets just off the main road. So be aware for this particular location. The inside of the restaurant has a very calm and cosy atmosphere making it a nice place to sit inside and enjoy your meal. They do provide the main menu and the Sunday lunch menu on a Sunday. The Sunday lunch menu is more than enough in my opinion to choose from. You can look ahead at the menu on their website which is easy to navigate. But between the 4 of us that day we had the Roast Chicken Dinner each. Falafels, Chicken Won-Tons and the Molten Chocolate Fudge Cake. We were going to have the Sticky Toffee Pudding unfortunately they were out which was a shame. One point of note which I thing all restaurants should do. Is to mention what is not available that day when providing the menu. Just to help customers make a choice. The starters are not too big and overall you do not want them to be based on the size of main. The starters were very well presented and tasted great. As I said its just enough to not fill you up before the main meal. When the mains came it was the portion size was large. Which is pleasantly surprising as it wasn’t just buffed up by the vegetables. The size of the half-chicken and amount of vegetables provided defiantly worth it.The main was also presented and cooked well. The gravy and vegetables were also delicious. It really filled me up. One of the best restaurant chicken roasts I have had in a while.Only one bad point is that I ordered vodka and apple juice. Was given an orange juice. Maybe I would have said something but the actual orange juice looked quite nice. Also I wasn’t particularly bothered that day what kind of juice I was having.Overall though this place from my experience if most defiantly a must try for a Sunday Chicken Roast. The food made up for the minor mistakes. I could see it becoming a larger franchise in the future if they keep up that quality.

The Sunday Roast I tell you...hit the spot. Very hearty wholesome food. The chicken is Halal. Food was grad. I must say it need a Yorkshire pud and a bit more gravy. But that me. Service was great and very chilled vibe. Definitely a place I'll keep in mind on my next visit to Liverpool. Good food

Great little cosy restaurant for a quick lunch! I love the chips, they are so delicious and crispy. And the chicken is very tender. Also don’t forget the sauce, I just love it:p
