Quirky old-school Georgian boozer serving beers from local microbreweries, plus a long list of G&Ts.

This little pub is somewhere you can have a top quality pint of fine cask ale or fantastic European Lagers and Ciders. Most of all no mobiles in sight just having a good chat with down to earth folk

Lovely small pub with friendly staff and excellent Real Ale. Recently refurbished with outdoor seating. Lovely.

Tiny pub tucked away in a little side street. Well worth the effort of walking the couple of hundred yards from Hope street. Superb for real ales and also serves locally sourced meat pies. The toilet is unisex but none the worse for that. Plenty of seating outside, perfect for nice days.

Lovely little gaff, nice staff, and beers kept pretty very well. My absolute regular in town, happy to walk past other pubs on my way in to make this my first, and often last, pint.

In forty years of drinking in Liverpool pubs, this is by far my favourite pub. Great real ales and great service and the extra rooms upstairs mean there’s plenty of room for everyone 👍🏻

Decided to investigate whether or not this place had actually reopened post Covid and was delighted to discover that not only was it open but ```(if even possible) was better than before! This gorgeous little pub attracts only nice people, and the team are just the nicest people too. We had a lovely afternoon today, having great conversation, pork pies and other peoples dogs. Oh and they have an upstairs lounge as an overspill for larger groups.

Possibly one of the best barman you will ever come across in here....he compliments one 9f the best 3 pubs in the city.More of that type of service and passion and real ale, classic pubs will live long and never die.5 stars is not enough for these type of pubs.
