Excellent proper traditional pub with outstanding original decor, ornate plaster ceiling, hardwood features and elaborate castings that will never be repeated. Recommended.

·

Lovely little pub right by train station, just popped in for 2 while waiting for my train. It's a lovely old fashioned thing but up kept very well. The staff were friendly and it was £4.30 for a pint of stella, which is good these days.

An excellent pub with an astonishing plasterwork ceiling. I don't really expect much from the closest pub to a city train station, but the Crown is well worth a visit, if not for ceiling alone!Usually a good beer selection in available, 2-4 on cask, many more on kegTry to find the cigars ;)

A busy pub/restaurant that provides good quick service and reasonable priced food. Only small issue we had was the veg. was cold

Great pub food came out piping hot and very quickly.Perfect if only short time before train at Lime Street.

I’ve been visiting The Crown for only a couple of years now - and it has become my staple go-to pub when I arrive at the train station. This visit has been one of the best, as the staff have been brilliant. They’re all so friendly, willing to chat, and helpful with local knowledge.Special praise to Ruth who I’ve met a couple of times now. She is an asset to the team for sure!

The staff are brilliant. Fast efficient and best of all friendly. If you only go to one pub in Liverpool make this the one. Get a great quality pint and look up at the ceiling its worth it. I'll be back!

Friendly atmosphere Friendly staff Great range of drinks Very good food at very reasonable prices

·

Nice pub with lots going on good location next to the train station. Choice of draft larger not to my taste though. But would give it another visit if in the area. As it was chilled friendly and comfortable.

We spent Friday afternoon in the crown and enjoyed it very much. It is a busy vibrant pub with lots of comings and goings as people arrive from the railway stations. The pub is a traditional Liverpool pub it looks spectacular inside and the staff run it very well. We had the chicken burger and the fishfinger wrap both were delicious. The staff were very efficient behind the bar.
