The food here was incredible, the service however was a significant let down. Firstly we had to wait for 5 minutes to be greeted. The table we were seated at had crumbs from the previous diners. We ordered a round of drinks for our table, which took upwards of 30 minutes to be provided (in fact the starters arrived first). The waitress held up a finger and asked me to shush when making my food order. Food from other tables were simply left and not cleared away despite the diners leaving. At one point a waitress moved empty glasses and bottles to a windowsill and just left them there. The decor was quite run down, plaster was falling from the walls and there were significant damp patches on the ceiling. Unfortunately I can't even give the staff the benefit of the doubt as it wasn't at all a busy night and there were plenty of staff around however they spent too much time laughing and chatting amongst themselves than serving and looking after guests. Again however, the food was incredible and we gave our compliments to the chef.

Had a brilliant experience at the Florist, participating in a cocktail class as sort of my friend's Hen do. Our teacher, was professional, insightful and really funny! We absolutely loved the experience and the drinks that came with it! The venue itself was absolutely stunning and even smelt like a florist! Definitely would recommend for any special occasion, if I'm ever in Liverpool again I would love to come back.

Underwhelmed. Hearing about this place from a friend, my partner and I wanted to visit here whilst in the area, hearing fantastic things about the food and atmosphere.Wanting a table for 2pm, we phoned around 11am, being told there would be space come 2:15pm, we thought it was going to be very busy and said to each other, glad we phoned up to make the booking. On arriving early, we were greeted at the door and told our table wasn't ready and to relax in the bar and we'd be called over, the server at the bar was pretty chilled and pleasant to talk to. After serving our mocktails, we sat in the bar, looking around at the tired walls with scruff marks around, pressed flower wall art and colourful deco.Table ready, we were called upstairs to a quiet dining area, thinking to myself, why push us back 15 minutes, was a little confused but didn't question it.Looking at the menu, I wasn't wowd with anything, I didn't see the menu my friend had described and looking at my partner we considered finding a different place. The menu wasn't exciting, fish and chips, burger, salad, hanging kebabs. Something that would be served by any establishment, I'm sure they are all of high quality but expected to see something more exciting or interesting. We both decided on hanging kebabs, and a mix of starters, having saved ourselves from breakfast and walking around Liverpool all morning. My partner chose the halloumi and I chose the chicken, opting to pay an additional ÂŁ1 for the sriracha fries, thinking they would be a good portion tossed in the sauce.Noticing out the window, pigeons flapping by the window, a little off putting to see a bird poop on to the ledge, tried to not think about it. The building in the daylight could do with a touch up, but I suppose at night the cracks and chips would add character or wouldn't be seen.Starters on the table, the bang bang califlour was delicious, crispy and a very tasty sauce, the squid was basic and didn't hold much flavour, the chorizo and prawn starter was good, wouldn't order the prawn and squid again for the price you pay.Servers were well dressed, ours sporting a pink blazer and black studded shoes, he did struggle to clear the table , dropping the used knife on the floor. Plates cleared, the mains came out in okay time, food had flavour and presented well. Looking at my bowl of fries, I thought I was conned, yes it's ÂŁ1 but the amount of sauce and a few spring onions and chills weren't worth the money paid, asking another server If I could get some, he returned moments later with a huge pot full, grateful to the guy, questioned why I paid the extra money when I could have asked for it and get it for free.No check back on starters but there was on the mains, properly saw we were low on drinks and looking around for someone to order one with. Raised the issue with another server who listened for a moment.Declining desserts, the bill was presented, a paper copy of our table and an electronic bill for the table beside us, bit confused, we showed the gentle and corrected it, could of paid for a cheaper table and got away with it. Service was included but when paying we were asked to add more service on top, we didn't feel that we wanted too, the people were nice but not enough to add more to the bill.Food was a little above average, paying for the name on the door rather than the quality of the food. Place is great for photoshoot but would save my money for another place when visiting Liverpool again.

We came here for bottomless brunch and really enjoyed it. The décor's great and we really liked the brunch idea of choosing about 8 different items for the plate.Only down sides; it could take a bit of time to get served drinks which made it feel like I was constantly trying to get someone's attention, and some of the items were a bit weird eg the chocolate and peanut butter dessert just tasted like peanut butter. But overall I would recommend!

Just perfect. Amazing interior and all the food was amazing. My friend (who doesn’t ever really have vegan food) said the bang bang cauliflower (pictured) was the best vegan food she’s ever had. I agree and I have vegan food all the time!

Absolutely gorgeous restaurant/ bar, plenty of opportunities for pictures. Food was lovely, service was spot on and the heart throb cocktail was very nice - would go again and would recommend

A gorgeous building with a beautiful interior and lots of opportunities for photos!Visited twice now once around 8 o’clock midweek and about midday on the weekend, which you’d expect to be a little busy… but for both visits it was dead!Waited half an hour for drinks on the later visit. We had to go searching for staff as there were none around… very odd. When staff realised we had been waiting so long they bought the drinks right over but we then felt pressured to drink them quickly as we were the only ones left in the building (it was around 10:50pm).Tried 2 cocktails and a glass of wine, all were good! The heartthrob was definitely the nicest cocktail and as the cheapest, it was worth the money!Even though, I had those issues I would still like to go again perhaps when it’s busier so there is more of an atmosphere. And I’ve heard their food is pretty good too!

Very quiet considering we went at what should be peak time.Service was good enough, and drinks were tasty. The room we were in was wide and airy, but empty making the venue feel really cold. Not even any staff around or working in the room.Overall, I think we need to re-visit at a busier time, or try the restaurant upstairs.
