The Hillfoot Hotel in Liverpool

Had a great time here watching the Liverpool Caraboa Cup Final on Sunday. Great atmosphere in the pub and the band that were on afterwards, Echo st⭐r, were brilliant!

An excellent, family friendly pub which we enjoy going to regularly with our children. The food is tasty and reasonably priced - there’s usually a good offer on the menu. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It is a good venue for community events - I head up a local charity and we are frequently welcomed to have our team meetings in the function room. Highly recommended.

I was in here for birthday drinks last week and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. One staff member in particular was amazing, so thank you Joanne H for your attentive service and knowledgeable answers about the food due to one of my friends having allergies. Really recommend. 😊

First time I've had a meal in here for a while and it'll be a long time before I ever do again. All 3 meals were meant to have seasoned chips with them but none were seasoned. The half roast chicken was tough as boot leather and burned on the bottom. The gammon was extremely tough and the peas were cold. Very disappointed with the 3 meals that were ordered and it didn't get new year off to the nicest start.

It was practically deserted. A shame as it seems a decent enough pub. Only one bitter available which my friend said was not good. Lagers were fine

Very nice atmosphere in comfortable surroundings. Good food menu. my one regret is...no real ales.

Unfortunately we picked the wrong day to go for food and drink for my nieces birthday, it was packed because of the football, although there was 20 of us, are food came out in dribs and brabs, over an hour from the first meals to the last ones, my sisters and my mums and mine where cold, they had nothing that my dad liked, my nieces steak was still breathing even though she asked for well done, none of the steaks where on sizzlers, just normal plates, so overall not very good.

Visit here on a regular basis and have to say it is just fab family friendly pub😊 food is always nice and kids really enjoy coming here especially for a run around in the garden, staff are fab and the manager is brill especially with the kids always giving a few minutes to talk to them and encouraging them go eat their tea 🍽 it's nice to be able to go somewhere that is so child friendly and is encouraged 😊 definitely recommend

Rib eye Steak was cold, replacement came which was a rump and looked like it had been booted all over floor tasted vile, manager was lovely and gave refund, hubby had mixed grill and has got stomach cramps and is still vomiting 2 days later and my daughter is the same and has missed her return to school (not that it bothered her) manager said chef was off won't be going back in a hurry. Great atmosphere and staff were lovely garden looks fab

Went for a breakfast swimming in grease an bacon rock hard sausages overcooked. Management gave us refund of our meals and offered two free desserts our first two requests no stock..
