The Kissing Gate in Liverpool

I didn’t expect much from airport food but the ceasar salad here was fantastic.Service was really quick, ordered through an app so no waiting at a bar and the waiting staff were all very friendly even though it was very busy

Me and my friends travelling from Liverpool John Lennon to Barcelona and stopped at Kissing Gate for a bite. The service was speedy fast. We only waited about 10 mins for our foods to arrive. The Caesar salad was scrumptious and the waiter named Liam was very polite and smiley. We will definitely go back there again if we travel at the same airport

I hardly ever give 1 stars but this place deserves a 0. Really poor choice for breakfast. The bacon wasn't cooked, the sausage was so strange, the eggs I think were sat since last night, the tomato was just chopped in half and thrown on the plate and the toast was cold. Ordered fried eggs and poached eggs came. When we took it back we were told they only do poached eggs, yet one of us had scrambled eggs on the plate. Bad service, bad attitudes. Even the beer tasting mouldy. Literally nothing was nice. Gutted I paid for a tip. Disgusting place I won't be back.

Less than good quality food at exceptionally high prices. Glass of wine over £8. Good reason not to fly from Liverpool

Plenty of staff, quiet. Staff standing around at the bar chatting.Waited several minutes to be noticed and told to sit and order.Barely found an uncluttered or clean table to sit at. Table still sticky.Order system does not allow you to request no ice so I lost a quarter of my drink taking it out.Waited far too long for a drink to be served considering the number of staff.The young lady who served us was very friendly and efficient.

Had an exceptional experience today at kissing gate! Really happy with the service I received. Everybody had a lovely smile on their face and I am more than happy to return here when I fly again. Food was lovely and all my drinks were to a high quality standard. Sarah was really helpful with showing us how to order online :)

Just an amazing experience. Staff were lovely customer service was 10/10. Food was delicious and quick service. It really started our holiday off the best possible way. In particular staff member Issy made our experience so pleasant and memorable. Thank you for a lovely start to our holiday.

On Sunday afternoon we visited kissing gate, I was greeted with a smile when waiting to be seated by a girl called Ella, She then gave us the choice of where we wanted to sit as there was 4 of us, we requested a booth and there was only one which had a few glasses on there so she got another lovely lad to clean and wipe the table, we struggled to order on the app so she explained and put the order through my phone. She was so polite and made our experience at the airport brilliant. Everytime she passed our table she asked if everything was okay. Customer service was brilliant. Will be visiting again! Ella was amazing!

Maybe I’m being a bit unfair, this wasn’t a bad breakfast sandwich, but calling it Ultimate… are you having a laugh? It’s a bog standard toastie, on a tiny little saucer. Expensive too, and I have no idea why they can’t be bothered getting some proper butty buns in.The amateur hour order-at-your-table site didn’t work either, and bar staff started arguing the toss before letting me pay normally on their card machine. I’ll just go to Starbucks next time, less hassle and you get a smile.
