Best real ale pub around, lovely friends day staff, great interior and atmosphere. Jamie, Rob and Dave are brilliant and I honestly couldn't have got through the last year without our lovely Jamie! 😘

Great character pub, one of the few remaining gems left in the city centre. Great staff, good pies and range of good beers. Only blip for me toilet smells. Regardless worthy of a visit.

Good selection of ales. You have to try the pork pies! Pastry looks like its old leather, but id rank the pie, pastry and jelly as being one of the most tasty ive ever had.

Lovely pub. Beer choice good. Not sure whether they serve food. But still a good pub well worth the visit.

Great city centre pub. Good selection or hand pulled beers. Grade ll listed on the national inventory of historic pubs. Named after the locomotive that worked the Manchester-Liverpool line. Features Mosaic floors, tiled corridor and stained glass. Great pork pies.

Great old pub,nice range of beers,even has mild on draught, the 11pm last orders on a Saturday caught me out! Well worth a visit

An amazing pub with a decor to die for. A must visit with great beers and a whisky list to die for. P.s. the best pork pies in Liverpool and cheaper than any fast food outlett nearby. A must for any visitor and great staff.

Cracking traditional pub with great character and a friendly landlord. Visited from Scarborough and we will be back!
