I visited the Pear Tree over the Xmas period with my family and what can I say, the staff are amazing so friendly and accommodating although it was rather busy especially a lady called Vicky she really looked after us. I would recommend a trip here, I’m looking forward to my next.

This place looks lovely from the outside and has a nice little beer garden, with ample parking. However, the food is substandard to say the least! Also the landlady maybe should consider a different profession where she doesn’t have to engage with the general public. If I said she was rude, it would be an understatement!! I would not recommend this place and certainly won’t be going back.

Always lovely coming here. Bit of a limited menu though. The empty plates were New York cheesecake. As you can see they were devoured.

Great food and drinks at a really reasonable price. Really good service too, served by a young lad think his name was George (apologise if thats wrong) really friendly and well mannered. Will be back soon for sure

Arrived for a quick meal. waited 30 minutes and called 4 times before anyone even took our order. Told us we couldn't have fries instead of chips with a meal and couldn't order gammon egg and chips without the gammon. table service spilled orange juice on himself and gave rest of the bottle to us instead of replacing it and manager was extremely rude to all customers who approached her.

Nice pub, but poor service. Took 20 mins for drinks to arrive. Food came before the drinks, the poor boy serving didnt even no what beers they had on. We ended up laughing but need to get basics right.

The food was lovely... the service was polite, slow and unorganised the larger was chemical tasting and considering it was very quite for a hot sunday afternoon service wasn't as organised as should be. Park was very small but perfect for young children. Would go back as food was yummy n hope they were just having an off day.

I first visited the Pear Tree Pub pre lockdown with friends. We all tried the food which wasn’t edible to say the least (both starters and mains!) I definitely wouldn’t recommend dining there. We thought we’d give the pub a second chance. However, the Landlady was extremely rude and bad mannered. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. Suffice to say we didn’t even stay for one drink. We ended up getting a taxi to the Sandpiper where we were welcomed by friendly and professional staff. Altogether the food and service was excellent, and well worth a visit.
