First visit, around 5 on Friday and it was very busy, a good vibe. Had the Carling, very nice. They serve food and you can have takeaway. Friendly staff.

This place was a joke today. We waited so long for our meals we had a 10 year old and a 2 year old with us who were very hungry we had to buy them crisps we waited that long for the meal. When my meal arrived a chicken bacon avocado salad, the avocado was hard to find and the bacon and chicken was burnt. We waited an hour and a quarter for our starters and then another hour and a half for our mains. My son and his wife had driven from Redditch to see us and treat us to a meal and then we were going on to Sefton Park because the weather was so good. We had to cut that short because of the long drive back to Redditch. We were totally rob of a good day out in the beautiful spring weather. If you had staff problems we should have been told when we ordered. I think a table near us waited just as long for sandwiches. The day cost a total of £100 between my husband and son it was discusting never again.

Absolutely amazing experience in there...Food was outstanding..Recommend the mixed grill to any meat eater...Whoever the chef is he/she absolute respect thank you.

Popped in the other day for coffee & cake, caramel apple pie and custard, just what you need on cold afternoon in February.. coffee was delicious too, a good size cup and roasting hot.. hope to be back soon..

Presentation of food and service was very good! However the food did dissapoint. As it did look delicious it didn't taste it, the potatos were not fresh, neither was the veg. Meat was okay but very chewy, small portion for what you pay and the gravy was quite nice. Dessert was nice but I did find a hair in it, therefore having to put the rating down. The Richmond Tavern looks aboslutely stunning inside out but the food was a big dissapointment.

Went for a meal on sunday with friends. Wont be going back . The main course for me was okay until i had the gravy. My friends meals were okay . BUT the service was a joke. They took forever to serve a pot of tea to the table and couldn't find a teaspoon and i never got my dessert. We asked for refunds to be told by manager he hasnt had to do refunds so was struggling on the till. Do me a favour!!

The food here is so disappointing its unbelievable. I don't think they have real chefs, maybe just bar staff trying to serve meals. I would really suggest to the manager(s) that the kitchen is closed until you employ some people who can really cook. Charging £10 for a meal that is stone cold, dry, rubbery or burnt is not acceptable.

We waited for over an hour for our bland tasteless food that was probably prepared hours before then placed into a microwave to be reheated and put on our table. Whilst we waited a waitress rolled around on the floor cuddling and petting a Staffordshire bull terrier in front of our very eyes. Another 2 dogs played and had toy fights under a different nearby table. Needless to say we won’t be going back unless we take our 4 dogs for a Sunday roast.

Waited a little while for food to come but was nice when it came. Staff were very pleasant and amenable. It was an enjoyable lunch

A warm and inviting tavern. The staff have always been friendly and approachable, with excellent food at excellent prices. A very pleasant experience each and every time I've been fortunate enough to visit.
