Nice place. Slightly on the costlier side when compared to the Coffee House further up the road. When we were there, 12:30 pm, absolutely no atmosphere ! No music on. No TV on. Shame!

An older feeling pub in the village that has down to earth staff members, obviously has lots of horses in the decor. A nice and usually quieter pub from the times I've visited.

Will absolutely NEVER return.I was the only person at the bar, and the server literally had his hands in his pockets looking me up and down and didn't even ask what I wanted.The smell inside was absolutely putrid - like a pet shop.Also, £14 for 2 doubles in a dive like that is just not justified.

Nice little chilled out pub, could do with more locals popping in for a pint as its very quiet. Be a shame to see it go under after all the years it's been open.
