Step into Turtle Bay and you will be blown away by the decor and the feel for a Caribbean experience. But it stops at that.Unfortunately, the restaurant was noticeably understaffed with a waiter coming around once in a blue moon. However, our waiter was quite friendly and helpful with my allergies, though of course stressed that there was no guarantee that there would be no contamination. I highly recommend that this establishment makes greater efforts on service speed, as our table had far too much time to decide what to eat.In terms of food, it was rather plain and particularly unfilling, especially for its price. I assume the premium was due to the town location. My friends felt similarly, suggesting we should go somewhere for dessert after. I had an elderflower soft drink which was rather nice, but disappeared far too quickly as we waited for food.Overall, Turtle Bay was a good experience but not one I would repeat any time soon. The staff are friendly, but the two hours spent there felt like an eternity, even just waiting for someone to take our order.

Loved the food. BBQ pork ribs and Jerk pit Ribs are the best. If you love Caribbean food, Turtle bay is where you need to be.

Went to Turtle Bay, Hanover Street for Bottomless Brunch and it was fabulous. The food was so tasty and our server Dee was so attentive and friendly. She made sure we had everything we needed and kept the drinks topped up. 5 star review.

Lovely evening food great. Red Stripe on tap. Kat was brilliant, kept the glasses full. Dessert might not look very appetising but was delicious.

Walked in on a Friday lunch time with a group of friends , waitress was very helpful and said we could do the bottomless brunch (which is normally pre booked only) food was excellent and the drinks were free flowing ! Worked our way through the cocktail menu and left very merry. Amazing value for money , the bottomless is a must if you like Caribbean food and are out for a boozy one 😋

This is a lovely place, that does amazing Caribbean food, and nice two for one cocktails before 7pm. It had an absolutely lovely vibe, and I appreciated that it was quiet when we went on a Monday evening. I’d particularly recommend the seasoned chips and the katsu curry, which were absolutely amazing. The zombie cocktails are great too. The service was excellent, and the place has a great vibe generally. It’s also perfectly situated next to the famous Cavern club. The service was also great, and the waiters were very friendly. I’d absolutely recommend this place!
