Have always loved this place. Good beer and a proper pub atmosphere. Staff always helpful. Had a lovely burger and a pint before the match.

We were looking for somewhere for a quick bite to eat and a couple of beers but couldn't find any pubs doing food. We walked past The Vernon Arms and saw a menu in the window. We popped in and sure enough they had a small food menu. Food is great, especially for the price. There's a great range of ales on draught also and the bar staff are very friendly. Well worth a visit. Thanks guys 👍.
