Best chippy and Chinese very fresh food and friendly service. Owner work hard keep place clean and tidy. Highly recommended . I will order there again. We'll worth it awaiting deliveries

Ordered mixed kebab, the guy who’s in charge of the grill is totally out of order. He’s slow, doesn’t know the cooking time of each meat. He also uses the same grill tongs for both row and cooked meat and possibly even for the salad. I know this place for years and it was always worth the trip. Not anymore unfortunately. I’ve got dried chicken, burnt and dry kofte and shich…… again. I’m afraid that I’m searching for the new place for the next time.

35 minutes late, cold, sui mais looked like they'd been cooked in lukewarm water. Pizzas used to be good but now are just massive discs of bread with tomato puree.Food used to be spot on from here, don't know whats happening, but won't be ordering again any time soon

We went in to Village for Chips, our usual Chip shop closed , so went to Village Take Away.Our Son went in, Chips were awful, dry and stale - look like warm ups from days ago ! Scallops not much better, looked like been in bottom of freezer for ages, greasy, nasty, will put them out for the Seagulls tomorrow, if they will eat them.Go anywhere but this place.

I ordered a beef lettuce and hot pepper sauce half an hour ago. I got home and it was like trying to eat Alsatian meat in a dishwater sauce. Nothing hot about it. Just pure warm water with tough meat. I ordered a savoury to go with it and that was like a sock filled with 10 day old stuffing. Absolutely disgusting.

Never had a bad meal from here. Always fab food and service. Today however, everything was cold. Could be a one off. But it will be a while before I order again

The food is amazing but the delivery times ugh !!! the last time we ordered it took 2 hours to deliver on a weekday and we are 2 mins (at the most) drive away. Today is also a weekday and so far we have been waiting an hour and made 4 phone calls...still waiting....

waiting 45mins in the place to get fish and chips staff to busy looking after phone orders . 3 times its happined in 2 weeks .food nice but is that because your so hungry when you get it your not bothered.

Got prawn chow mein, Peking mushrooms, prawn toast, salt and pepper chips and curry sauce. Having read some of these reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. But wanted to try and give business local. Pleasantly surprised. Really enjoyed the food, arrived hot and on time. Prawn toast especially nice. Gave 4 stars as needed to add a bit of soy to the chow mein to suit my taste, and the chips were a little soggy (I love a soggy chip but the other half said he would rather them more crisp). Will definitely get food from here again.

Overpriced for average quality food. Can't be a good place to work as the staff are different every few weeks. I live nearby so never had home delivery. It's a waste of a great location for a take-away. The village could really do with a great kebab/chippy.
