West Derby Takeaway in Liverpool

Dined there last night for my anniversary.Pros: Nice friendly staff and service. Cozy atmosphere. Tasty Shiraz wine. Nice starters. Well cooked steak.Cons: Hot chilli sauce on steak was very mild, expected more of a kick in the sauce! Personal preference - I would of liked chips or mash to come with my steak on the menu instead of creamy potatoes.All in all a very modest 4/5Yes would visit restaurant again to try something else on the main menu.

Just had an amazing meal here. We won a 1kg tomahawk steak on an Instagram competition and travelled 3 and a half hours for this. It was 100% worth the journey. The food was insane. Best steak I have ever tasted and it was cooked by our table too. I would say the best thing about the place though was the staff. So friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We were treated like celebrities. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely stop by here again if we are in the area.

What a hidden gem! This restaurant was amazing 10/10 is not enough! The staff where friendly an welcoming! The food was a tastebud sensation an the lamb was amazing! Will definately be heading back here very soon!! 🧡🍽

Visited the West Derby restaurant for the first time yesterday with my girlfriend and mum, as it was my birthday! Food, service and atmosphere was amazing!The staff are a credit to you!!!!

Highly recommend this place to anyone. Great food perfect steak, the service was excellent too. Cant wait to come here again

A little on the expensive side ( but you definitely get what you pay for here ) Been hearing from several family members about this place for a while now, but reserve for special occasions. The restaurant itself is beautiful, decore, layout, & spotlessly clean. All the staff were lovely, polite, there as & when needed them, without being too "in your face" the service was outstanding. The food was delicious, full of flavour, nice portion sizes, I could definitely see why my family had been raving about it. A nice relaxing atmosphere, a little bit of music in the background, perfect. A belated booking for us for my niece's birthday ( as she had been ill ) the staff spoke to Dad on the quiet, they popped a candle in her desert & several staff gathered round to sing happy birthday. Can't fault this place at all. Highly recommend a visit here.

Food was lovely. We were not too hungry so this time we did not try their steaks, calamari and lamp shoulder was amazing. Staff and ambience was lovely.

Incredible food. This place was recommended by a friend and it lived up. The food was amazing. The mixed grills were different with their own in house sauces added on top that have them a unique flavour. I ordered the gold foil covered burger, not too expensive but it was worth it just for the experience.All the waiting staff and management were very friendly and accommodating to our large group of friends.They have an aging cupboard were you can select your meat for the steaks. Would recommend to anyone and cannot wait to visit again.

Really nice experience and food. Not only the steaks, but the octopus and the calamari were really good. It is easy to see that they just work with good quality ingredients. The staff is very friendly and made the experience much better. Would definitely recommend Macello to anyone that comes to Liverpool.

Excellent food, staff and very attentive, restaraunt is very well presented and clean.Took my dad for a steak and he really enjoy it.Only thing I'd pick is the soft drinks. My daughters orange cordial tasted more of water than orange. My fresh orange juice was not very cool at all, also quite watery in flavour.
