Really solid bistro food with a decent wine list. The main menu is a little expensive for the standard of cooking but the bistro menu is very reasonable and should have enough options for a small party. Service was warm and efficient and the space is attractive.

Very very good. Great serviceExcellent menu. Had 3 courses for £45 of really good food. Came out wishing it was near home. Such good value!

Had high hopes for this place but must admit for the price it did not live up to expectations. Old Fashioned was very watered down with the amount of ice put in.The flavours of the Pigs head starter didn’t seem to gel very well, nor were they of any reasonable size - The chunks of pineapple were bigger than the pig head croquettes. However the burrata was lovely! The main of the feathered blade of beef was very also very tasty. I wasn’t absolutely stuffed after my meal especially having paid £85. Another reason for the markdown was waiting for the bill which took longer than I had hoped for.Overall the staff were very friendly.

Always a great dining experience at Wreckfish. Staff are really friendly and pleasant and the service is great. Food is amazing! Featherblade of Beef is delicious 😋 we like to push the boat out so it's three courses and wine then coffee. Try it, you will definitely return once you have.

A wonderful gem, food is incredible, staff are so friendly - it felt like a private dining experience! My advice: book now, before it becomes so well known, you can't get a table. Definitely my new, personal favourite. Thanks to Hayley and the chefs for a lovely evening.

The food and service in this place is easily some of the best in the city at a modest price.Hayley (apologies if I spelt this wrong) and Dean were our waitress/waiters and they were great! Full of that great Scouse energy and Hayley’s food recommendations were spot on, she’s amazing! Keep hold of her!The Lamb Terrine was just amazing, the Pork Loin was tender and cooked to perfection and my Cod Loin was pan seared to perfection. The Truffle Parmesan chips are 👌🏽👌🏽I’d of been happy paying over well over £100 for our meal last night and it’s the same in the amazing Pinion restaurant in my home town or Prescot. The staff are so accommodating and welcoming and they really will try and cater to anything you need. If it’s possible!Honestly I think the Elite Bistro chain of restaurants offer the best priced amazing food across the North West.

It was delightful to find this unique bistro with delicious food. The chicken with sauce just melted in my mouth and the combination of different but subtle flavours was wonderful. The staff were very caring, pleasant but not intrusive.I thoroughly recommend eating here if you want something different and special.

The quality of the food is very high, my turkey was very tender and cooked perfectly. With high quality ingredients, comes higher prices too though, but it was worth it.Staff is very nice and accommodating, which is never a given :)
