Cheap, tasty and fresh food

Been ordering from Zatar for some time now and my verdict has come. Zatar is one of the few middle eastern places in the UK that I can confidently say has the best and to some extent the yummiest selection of middle eastern meals.Being a Syrian, I always found it weird that middle eastern restaurants in the uk completely miss out on having the correct ingredients for a shawarma wrap. Most places put lettuce inside the wrap which I wholeheartedly disagree with. This place does it right by putting three simple ingredients that make the shawarma wrap stay faithful to its origins: a ton of garlic sauce, fries and green pickles! Would highly recommend 👌

At first 5 stars then down to 4 and now 3, first time I came in Ramadan for falafel the guy is nice next time same guy but falafel not cooked the best but still good, a few minutes ago I go in for falafel again BUT the guy doesn’t show up until this family come and he serves them before me, I had money and everything so I stood for longer and no response so I leaveI love this falafel but this guy in today he needs to be improved

The shawerma was good indeed. Only problem is that they are not good at English as they were struggling to understand the English of Mine, an Indian. Secondary they dont accept cards and only cash is accepted..

They charged extra price from the menu. When I asked, they told they have increased price but menu hasn’t been updated. Such a worst shop. Wouldnt recommend

Food is ok, staff is good but they need to take care of hygiene. Visited them over 5 times and I order pastry or shawerma. The taste differs between visits. One of the times the shawerma was really good the other was not at all. The pastry is average. Prices are reasonable, it matches what you get.
