Zizi in Liverpool

Amazing food and amazing service from your staff; your crew member Jason in particular. Lovely towards me and my siblings throughout and got us everything we needed. We were very grateful for him.

I decided to pop in for a quick birthday lunch as the zucca salad is one of my favourites. I wish I hadn't. Service was slow while servers stand around doing nothing. My drink was served in a dirty glass that was changed on request. The zucca salad (that I've had numerous times for years) was bland and had clearly been thrown at the plate. The chicken was precooked from a packet - bland, watery and vile. I put loads of balsamic and salt on the salad to try and get some flavour but gave up. Server didn't say a word taking away my half eaten meal but did bring the bill quickly (obviously!!). I didn't complain as I'd already had to ask for the wine glass to be changed and didn't want to spend my birthday lunch complaining. The last time I'd ordered the same dish here it was amazing but today there was clearly a problem. Not sure if I'll be back with the range of restaurants available in the city centre.

Great customer service, starters were fab. The pizza was way to spicy and just greasy not much flavour. My tiramisu was lovely. The bar tender wasn't happy how many managers they employed there over time. Doesn't seem very professional to discuss this around customers.

Previously we have had great experience at this zizzi branch, but on this occasion we were left disappointed. It was a Sunday evening and the staff gave a strong 'end of a long weekend, can't be bothered' vibe. Inattentive, slow, told us we were best to order via the app rather than through them, but problems with the app, meant it took ages. Food was good when it came, puddings on the small size.

The food was great, I don’t have anything bad to say about it. A group of us went and tried a variety of starters and mains and there wasn’t a dish we weren’t happy with. Unfortunately as others have mentioned they didn’t have quite a few things on the food menu and only one beer was available. My advice would just be to not check the menu before going to avoid any disappointments about things they might not actually have.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. Definitely plan to eat here again if I am in Liverpool.Went to eat here as part of a group of 6 on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant seemed to be at about full capacity.We had originally booked for 7 but on one member of our group cancelling the staff were very accommodating and sat us at a table suited for the new group size.The online ordering system is straightforward, very easy when combined with use of the physical menu. The food was somewhat pricier than what I am accustomed to, costing £152 for the group, but it felt reasonable given the great quality. The option to split the bill or not was provided on payment.The wait for the food was not long and the food itself was the best I have had of its kind. The other group members said that their food was as enjoyable. A waitress got one order mixed up and the manager immediately placed us at top priority to get the order right and was very apologetic.As a bonus, the house music, while unusual for an Italian restaurant, was quite enjoyable.

Not overly impressed with a meal here last weekend. Spent £60 on a garlic bread, two pasta dishes and a bottle of wine and felt I could have made it better myself at home. The food wasn't hot either. Wouldn't return.

A fantasic Experience at the Zizzi ❤ had to book at table with an hour wait came back after a bit more family shopping 🛍 so brilliant location for shoppers . The inside table was ready for us and we ordered 3 pizzas with drinks the service and food was top notch as Always and there was a Great Atmosphere both inside and out !! Very covid safe would recommend this place to anyone who loves any Italian food this place is as good as the Trafford Centre Zizzi ❤❤👌👍🍷🍾🥂UPDATE had another Amazing meal here again yesterday the new Nudja chips are to die for along with the rest of the food ,the service again was brilliant and Our server Craig also informed us that with our taste card we could get a by one get one free on the starters and Main course so we got over £20 of our bill 👍👍❤❤🍷🍾🍾🥂🍕🍝🍕🍕

Great food, awesome service. Really helpful, even with all the various food allergens. Food was usual Zizzi quality, which is always great. If you're considering... Go for it.
