Zizzi - Liverpool Speke in Liverpool

We've had a pizza Margherita from Zizzi. It was absolutely terrible. Sweet dough, tough to bite and gummy. What a waste of money! I just can't believe that you what charge someone any money for what we received. I assume that the pizza was not made fresh and it was from a freezer. You would really expect someone to make you a fresh pizza for that money, otherwise why not picking up first pizza from a freezer in a supermarket. I don't even want to hear any apologies from this company nor I want to get any special discount as there is nothing that I would eat in that place.

Had a lovely meal at Zizzi in Speke with my hubby,friendly and helpful staff,asked if we had any allergies. Food was amazing,the garlic bread is lovely😊 our food arrived together and was nice and hot,reasonably priced,drinks bit pricey but thats the same in any restaurant,highly recommend if you like Italian food⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ will defo return soon 🍕🍕🇮🇪

Visited as a group of 6, only us and 1 other table in the building.Service, well you don’t really get it, told to order on the app many dishes were out of stock, when the food arrived it was very poor, dry lacking flavour and no meat in the spaghetti Bolognese just poor all round food and service yet enough staff in the building.Shame as I have been put right off Zizzi now

One of my favorite places to eat out when in town for business. Everything I tried at this place is exemplary!

We pre booked. Upon arrival we were offered a choice of table to suit our family needs (Disabled daughter in a wheelchair).Due to our son having a peanut allergy we were asked to order our food on our mobile phone using a QR code from the menu. We did this but soon worked out that our order had not been received by the Kitchen. I repeated the process three times but despite pressing all the right buttons nothing worked. Eventually the staff took my order manually and we received our food very quickly (Thank you).Next time we will not mention an allergy to avoid this very poor slow, ironically named "Speed ordering" process.The management are delightful. Friendly, kind and helpful.The younger female staff seemed to hang around the bar chatting a lot which the manager repeatedly discouraged!!The meals were all very tasty. Our 2 boys devoured their Pizzas.I had ro wait a long time for the Bill, which I eventually went to the bar, where several of the younger staff were hanging out, to ask for it. This may have been due to our table being identified as an allergy table and only managers could serve us (I think).Generally positive. We will return at some point.

Amazing once again, busy Friday night but still plenty of space between guests so wasn't too loud, staff were great, very friendly, food was perfect, changed my usual of Lasagne but was not disappointed with the Spaghetti Bolognese, will definitely be coming back!

Food was great as was the service. Little bit too long waiting in between courses and for the bill but we weren't in a rush so didn't really matter

I'm going to cover the features within this restaurant and then give my overall review. Starting with the:Food - The food served in this restaurant looks pretty good and same for the taste. I ordered one of their specialties which they were advertising outside to try and it was alright. I wasn't "over the moon" about it, but it was good food nonetheless.Menu - The menu in this restaurant is nice. Its easy to read, well laid out and has alot to offer. The specialties are also highlighted and concise in their descriptions.Queue Speed -  I came here on a Saturday afternoon and thankfully didn't have to queue for a seat. Ordering food was also straight forward and the waiting period wasn't too long either. Overall I was pleased with the pace of services in this restaurant.Sitting Space - The sitting spaces are really nice in comparison to most  restaurants I've been at. The chairs and table locations are good and in great condition, plus they're not all too close together - so you won't have to worry about overhearing conversations or having other listen in on yours.Lighting - The lighting in this restaurant is marvellous  and provides a calm, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere throughout the restaurant. The lighting is also ideal for those who like to take pictures of themselves or their food inside the restaurant - or for reviews in my case.Customer service - The customer service here is pretty good as the members of staff all seem pretty competent and level headed.Hygiene -The hygiene in this restaurant is really good. The seating areas were all clean and well looked after and the same can be said for the toilets.Overall - I really liked this restaurant and would like to return and try more food from the menu. I found the restaurant to be pretty eye catching from the moment you step inside. The beautiful art work across the walls, the nature-esque decor, the bar and the trendy setup all make for a beautiful and refreshing dining experience.

Standard Zizzi fare. The food was cooked well and presented well. It tasted delicious. Slightly annoyed at £150 for 5 people to eat and only one alcoholic drink brought and 3 desserts. Not great value for money.Value is what brought it down to 4 stars because the place was clean, the staff friendly and the food hot!

Atmosphere and staff are sound. Food is tasty. The meatballs are a winner. And the king prawn starter. The salted caramel dessert and lemon sorbet is yummy very sweet. Definitely coming back.
