Al-Madina in Manchester

First time visit, just wanted a Madras curry sauce. Tastes nice and spicy, asked for a portion of red onion. Was very disappointed with the portion size. A very small plastic tub, the onions would fit on a tablespoon and they charged me £1. Very clean place, with all the meats on show looking nice and fresh.

Had a chicken madras from here and I have to say it was the best chicken madras I have ever had . There is no better feeling than feeling back home but within the UK itself and this place definitely hit the spot on Manchester’s curry mile . If you want a perfect karahi and nan combo then don’t delay visit Al Madina on wilmslow road today !

Hands down the best Pakistani food in all of Manchester. Fantastic quality, traditional, authentic and very reasonably priced. Only problem is it's always busy so if you want to eat in, you might have to wait for a table to become free but trust me, the wait is absolutely worth it.

One of only two locations in Manchester we'd recommend for authentic, clean delicious Pakistani/ Panjaabi / desi food . . . The last of the places on Wilmslow Road that offer a clean sanitised kitchen from which they cook, produce and serve their food, original family business, great family who thankfully pride themselves in quality tasty food, we sincerely pray they last another 100 years, genuinely tasty food served with a smile everytime . . .Que Dios te bendiga mi hermanos . . .

Visited this place with friend on a trip to Manchester and must say the food was excellent compared to many restaurants I have previously tried in Wimslow Rd in the past. The restaurant may not be all fancy etc and is very basic in decide etc but the food was spot on. So if you want a good traditional curry then this is the place. Recommend to all to try if you want good food without all the fancy decor. Service was to excellent by the staff.

This is a dine-in as well as a takeaway. Excellent South Asian fare is available. Their chicken dishes and lamb dishes are very tasty. Chicken-tikka-masaala is recommended. The fare is not heavy on the pockets. When we visited, it was cash-only.

Beautiful, delicious food! The lamb chops are amazing! Situated in a prime location in Manchester's curry mile, Al madina provides some tasty food. Plenty of indoor seating in a family friendly environment. Would definitely recommend 10/10

After many recommendations I took my family.The place is very clean and has a lovely fresh modern feel inside.The food was exceptional and we all had Apna style curried dishes which went down a treat. It was all fresh with a nice addition of olives in the salad. The staff were friendly and even took the trouble of chatting to us at the end of the meal.We will be visiting again and will have no hesitation in sharing our experience with others.

Really impressive experience. Lamb saag curry had layers of flavour and delicious. Especially impressed with the lamb biryani which was next level, unique amazing flavour that I have never tasted before. Mixed kebab platter was good, though the lamb sheekh kebab was on the spicy/hot side. Naan are large and delicious too. Clean eating area and toilets. Will definitely eat here again & do recommend.

I’ve been here number of time’s and can easily recommend this place for their service and quality. One of the best curry houses in this area of Manchester. Authentic spicy curries and meats that are grilled to perfection! The lamb tikka Karahi from here is good along huge variety of Kabab’s.No dine in facility but their revamped look is great clean and spacious.
