Alaqsa takeaway in Manchester

Ordered 5 kobeda kebabs, 3 portions of rice, two portions of chips, an a chicken kebab over the weekend. Nicely made food and friendly staff. Will definitely come back.

The food is good but they keep putting up prices. Mix grill which used to cost £8-£9 now cost £11+ with drink. Which is insane, I may not use them again and look for a cheaper grill place.

We ordered food for take out delivery and weren’t disappointed. Food was nice and tasty. Their kabeda kebabs are amazing. Highly recommend it

Ordered for the whole family, they are not customer friendly in explaining, and kinda want you to rush decide things otherwise your at their mercy if their busy with grills. Very understaffed. Staff have no customer communication skills.Food was below average, and cost more than the food was worth. I ate it to fill myself thats all. They were generous with sauces and salad which was very good. Very upset though when they added something to my order, i didnt ask for it and only realised when i got home, meaning £10 on the bill.Summary: Staff don't care for new customers, food isnt worth going to eat, costs alot more than value, mistakes on orders. Go to Mazaa across the street, they are amazing in every way.

The food was good as usual, but the liquid butter / fat over the kebab was not our cup of tea.

Prices have risen ridiculously. It used to be £10.50 for chicken tikka and kobeda with rice now it’s £13.90. Thats restaurant prices and this place is nowhere near restaurant quality. I will be travelling the extra 5 mins to rusholme in future. Quality and price is much better in rusholme!

If you like kebabs, I think this place is the best in Manchester. Consistently fantastic kebabs, spiced to perfection with a crazy-hot chilli sauce. Their chicken pizza is also absolutely the best pizza I've ever had, hands down. The service is always fantastic. All in all, highly highly recommended.Regarding cleanliness, can't say I've seen anything worse than other food places. However, last time I was there I saw they had a 5 star food hygiene rating. Furthermore, they also have a lady now whose role seems to be to keep the place clean.

Al Aqsa is amount very few takeaways who are actually clay oven Kabab’s. Honest and humble staff members. Wide spread menu with economically priced according to market trends. Open to modifications based on your request. Delivery options available too. Tandoori charcoal is one of their best sellers. Worth visiting when in or nearby this place.
