Almost Famous in Manchester

An authentic burger chain - a must try in Manchester if/when you crave burgers. It's at the second floor, find the "Almost Famous" plaque and climb upstairs.The service was fast despite the crowd. Juicy& big portions! Everything we tried was tasty so far. I recommend "bacon fries" especially. I was keen to try pizza fries and nutella fries this time, but I think they are no more. They weren't on the current menu.

My friend and I visited Almost Famous tonight. Firstly we couldn’t find the place, there’s a tiny plaque on the wall, after asking a few people we eventually found it after my friend called their number.The servers were really friendly and we were shown to our table given a menu and ordered our drinks. We then ordered two famous burgers, fries and bbq wings. The food was served really quickly and really fresh. We both really enjoyed the food and found the atmosphere really pleasant,we could see why it was so popular.We asked for the bill and I was a little surprised to see a service charge of £2.50. We paid the bill but didn’t leave a tip as I would usually do due to the added service charge which I think is a little cheeky.I would recommend Almost Famous but there are lots of eateries I wish to try so won’t be returning. Wonderful customer service from the waitress who checked up on us and delicious food that came quickly. Very happy!

Was sat down by a sever before 6pm wanting to try one of their burgers for the first time. Waited for 10 minutes for a someone to take my order and watched as people were sat after me and had their orders taken. Tried to get the attention of a server but they ignored me. No idea what the burgers are like but I found the service to be poor and inattentive

I’ve visited Almost Famous a few times a few years ago. It was (and still is) a Manchester institution.Cocktail menu is pretty good, definitely worth a drink.Staff + ambience were great as to be expected.My criticism on this recent visit stems from the fact the prices are a little steep for Manchester (even with inflation), coupled with the fact that the vegetarian options seem to have been drastically reduced from the glory days.

My partner and I went to Almost Famous for a celebratory burger last night, and it hit the spot! The phoenix fries are incredible too. The lady who welcomed us in was super nice and the service was quick and efficient. Overall a great experience, will happily return to try some of the other offerings on the menu! Thanks for a great feast.

Almost famous are probably the best burgers you will ever have! The funky decor is very cool and the staff are the best, our sever went out of his way to check for allergens in the food.

Got 2 burgers and 2 juices. Burgers very filling. Got the famous burger which is just a nice simple burger, can't go wrong and the triple nom burger which is probably the dirtiest burger I've probably ever tried. The triple nom was so juicy with the pulled pork. Wish I had a bigger appetite to try some of the fries.

Had the vegetarian taco with pomegranate seeds, it was absloutley delightful. My husband had the burrito and said the same. The only issue was it was cold rather than hot. It was quiet so unsure as to why it was cold. However the flavour made up for the temperature.
