Parking has always been an issue and Family asked for 4 portions of rasmalai and they didnt mention they were eating in. So the staff gives them plates, a knife to cut the plastic containers. What was this? I went for ambala renowned world name not back street service. When I arrived and so the disgusted service I said you shouldn't have accepted that.

Can’t fault this place since Ambala took over, the quality of the sweets is very good and the same each and every time I go. The only complaint would be that they close too early lol

Went with family including children so asked two tables could be joined together so all can have breakfast together and staff respoded to do that on our own!!Extremely non professional and poor customer service!!Parking could be an issue!!

Tried their halwa Puri for first time, the order was well packed and hot as it was devilered fast. The chanay with puri can be improved. In short their halwa puri is better than Anmol, Nafees and other places which offer same portion in similar price. Hence, I recommend it and would love to try their other items.

Good sweets but the staff are quite cold and rude. Was waiting for a whole 5min before they even looked at me and it wasn't even crowded. Kept ignoring me when I called out for service. It's such a shame. Would have loved to go more often.

In sweets this is the best shop. Their barfi mainly pista barfi is amazing. Must try faloda as well. Do not get rasmali, no one has good in Bradford. In Ambala normal meals are average.

Good sweet but staff attitude is poor. Fasting might have got to their heads (or bellies). Not tried their chaats etc.

Home to Mithai. Best Mithai in the UK hands down. I have been eating Ambala for almost 2 Decades. I have been and tried everywhere nothing comes close. New fitting from when I last visited the Manchester branch great display/decor very fresh and great selection of sweets. Staff were friendly

By far the best thing about Ambala is the Halwa/Chana Puri for 2 that costs only £5. Unlike a lot of other places, they make it daily so it's always available whenever it may take your fancy. For this, I fully recommend Ambala. As for the actual mithai, it should be noted that it's not fried in ghee which does affect the taste somewhat, hence 4 stars.Other than that, the seating area is clean, if a little on the small side. It's definitely best for groups of 2-3.To conclude, if you want a traditional breakfast then you can't go wrong with the Halwa Puri. However if you want to buy mithai then I suggest walking down the road to Sanam, where they cook in proper ghee for a full, authentic taste.
