A pretty long wait for a pricey burger(£6) and fries (£2). The Chicken Burger was okay, plenty of meat, but somewhat plain with just Lettuce and Mayo. The curly fries would have been good but they were cold! The sauces given are in pouches rather than cups you would get in GDK for example, which is just a half-baked way of providing a sauce. Maybe would go again to try a shake but not overly impressed by this "branded" takeaway with the wow factor that seems to be mostly driven by the upmarket pricing.

Really tasty, good portion sizes and great value for money. Only reason for the lack of a star; the driver gave us the wrong order so had to come back to correct meaning the food was lukewarm other than that not a bad word to say would definitely order again

Terrible service, staff have no urgency about them. Arrived 25 mins before train was due to leave, after waiting over 15 mins told them I had a train to catch and politely asked how long it would be. To which the replied not long. Stilling waiting with 5 mins later to which I agin asked is it ready because I have to leave again they said Yh won’t be long!! Anyway long story short hard to leave without my order, feeling somewhat frustrated and annoyed and the lack of urgency after giving them plenty of warning and over £10 down. No apology given, which would have made the situation slightly better, but to wait over 25 minutes to seem a little extreme for “fast food” to make matters worse I wasn’t the the only one rushing for a train! won’t be going again, disappointed

Left a whole piece of chocolate bar in the milk shake. When thier busy takeaway collection customers will get order messed up. This is the 3rd time paid for cheetos cheese fries but never got cheetos dust. Should rename them Cheatos Fries

I walked in with my partner at 10.30pm when it closes at 11pm to be abused by the doorman who was rude and shouted as us that it was closed. How??? The staff looked frightened when he shouted abuse. Disgusting behaviour from a member of archies staff. Should be ashamed. Left without ordering as we couldn’t speak. Disgusting

I am disgusted and I really do not know where to start. This is some of the worst service that I have ever experienced! When we ordered our food nobody told us that there would be a long wait. I understand that at busy times a wait is a possibility but customers should be told before ordering and paying. If we had known that we would have to stand there for half an hour for two burgers we would never have ordered. We have never been to an Archie's before and when we ordered my partner asked if they did normal fries as we had been offered crinkle or curly and my partner specifically asked "do you have normal non-crinkly straight ones". He was told yes and then was given crinkle fries. Not good... if you don't have them that's fine but we should have been told. Whilst we were waiting for half an hour the women who were taking orders were stood around doing nothing except gossiping about customers... myself and my partner and other customers heard this. We were not the only ones annoyed about the wait and people were getting annoyed to which the woman who appeared to be the manager decided to say "christ" when one man took his food because he clearly wasn't happy. The same woman was eating food out of the frier with her hands. Not only is this very annoying when you are stood there waiting for your food when you're extremely hungry, it is also unprofessional and quite frankly not hygienic. Especially during a pandemic. I also noticed that no one in the kitchen was wearing masks or gloves. It was difficult to understand why there were four women standing there doing nothing whilst there was a room of unhappy customers waiting for their food. The time stamp from when we ordered our food was 6:51. The time stamp of when we received our food is 7:17 however, we were not handed the bag until 7:19. I was checking. 29 minutes is ridiculous wait time for fast food. No one told us when we ordered. After waiting for 15 minutes with nothing being said I asked how long it was going to be... I was told 5 minutes. At this point I heard the woman who appeared to be the manager ask the chefs to do some of the in-person take away food. Me and the other people waiting could see that the uber eats orders were being done and we weren't moving at all. When we took our food the woman said "sorry for your wait" but with zero sincerity and when you have already seen her do this several times and then gossip with other members of staff it doesn't make you feel like a well-looked after client or that she was sorry at all. We specifically chose to go to this Archies instead of the other one further down the road as it said that this one was take-away only and therefore we assumed would be quicker as that is what it is there for. I was honestly disgusted with the attitude of the staff and our wait. I emailed Archie's about this who responded saying that a 25-30 minute wait time is normal and made no comment on any of the other points made. I emailed them again asking for a response for example to staff eating food with their hands straight from the frier and a month later have no response. Disgusting service... One VERY unhappy customer.

Archie's is a go-to burger place in Manchester. I always enjoy dining here as it is the perfect place to grab a quick bite with family and friends. Not only are the main food delicious but their desserts, mainly the waffles are just as amazing! Would 100% recommend.

A smaller Archie’s venue for takeaway only. Came here to get a milkshake to drink in the park on a Sunday day. Tasty milkshake and generous portion. Would recommend the ‘Archie’s milkshake’. Waffles looked good too

Great tasting burgers no denying it. I had the pink lemonade which tasted great too however I do wish I had gone for a shake. The only downside I would say is the burgers are on the pricer side and that is me comparing them to other burger joints based in London serving as good as or better quality.

Tried a few things off the menu. They where very busy took me 25 minuites to get my food, how ever what let them down was the milkshake and waffle where ready 10 minutes before my burger! The burgers where small and pricey compared to others around here, how ever they tasted amazing. Tried the beef burger as well as the chicken.Chicken burger was quite dry as a sand which needed more mayo opposed to the small amount they put in there.Milkshake was very good and very thick as they should be.Nachos im not sure, the crisp they used had a weird seasoning.I would deffo return to Archies but it cost us around £32 for 2 people having 1 meal each and sharing a waffle and milkshake. That is on the expensive side for a takeaway!
