Armenian Taverna in Manchester

The food was very good. I have been to both Armenia and Georgia before, and I was happy to discover that the taste and flavours were the same as "over there" The staff was very friendly and caring. I recommend this restaurant if you want good authentic food.

Great food and fast service. We had the Armenian goulash but to be fair all plates were looking great. Will definitely come back here.

A real hidden gem - food was excellent, no complaints there! I highly recommend the Mushroom Blini starter, absolutely perfect.Service staff were also very friendly and had great suggestions for my family when a few of them were unsure on what to pick on the menu.I do suggest you attend between 12 and 5pm as you can select from the Early Bird menu, which offers a starter and main at a much cheaper price.On the subject of price, it's relatively cheap for the quality of food you receive, which makes it even better. Definitely a great spot if you're dining out on a budget.

The food here seems like genuine home cooked food - absolutely delicious and prepared with much care.The staff are an absolute delight, they really care about you having a good time and enjoying your meal. I've been a number of times and each time the experience is the same - definitely worth a visit.

An amazing little place. Truly a food experience. All kinds of stuff I've never had or heard of before, along with of course what you might call southern Russian, Black Sea type foods. Fantastic different kind of eating experience. Not expensive at all. Check this place out.

Firstly, it was absolutely incredible food- opted for the mushroom stroganoff and it was delightful. Full of richness and a great umami flavour, without being too heavy, and my partner was also delighted with their dish- the pacsus dolma.Staff were fantastic, very hospitable and knowledgeable on the menu, and can't fault them, quick service and didn't feel rushed either. Definitely returning soon!

We went today and we had a great time! The food here is very tasty, the prices are reasonable and the stuff was very friendly. The waiter suggested to order a glass of white dry wine that was indeed a very good option. Totally recommend this place and we will come back soon!

I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back again.Since travel is still a bit restricted my partner and I decided to counterbalance this by experiencing food from different countries and first up was Armenia - we were not disappointed. We had the mushroom blini and lamb kofta to start, both of which were delicious. The blini was really light and the koftas were full of flavour. For main course we had chicken kiev with smooth, creamy mash and Armenian goulash, the lamb just fell apart and was so tender.
