Best value for money Chinese restaurant in Manchester. Amazing spicy Chongqing fish gotten it at least 5 times and has been consistently good .Been to this restaurant at least 10 times and never had a bad meal . photos from two separate occasions.

Beautiful place to eat could not eat it all the banquet.. Staff great, but every one eating had a coat 🧥 on..... I loved asking a Chinese family 👪 what they were eating, next to us. Very educational..

Food was absolutely delicious and perfectly spicy. Only thing to be aware of is that there are 2 menus, make sure you ask for the proper menu to get the proper Sichuan food.otherwise the other menu just has mediocre Chinese takeaway food for white people

The food is not too bad but the service is terrible. Especially one female staff.Couldn’t be bothered to go there anymore

If you're after culture and tradition, order their "(supposedly) Buffet" Hotpot and you're in for a treat.The lack of manners from the staff did remind me of my culture shock experience from my travels. I do wonder if the managers tell their waitresses "if you allow the customers eat too much, we'll also pay you below the minimum wage". If you want a more pleasant oriental cultural experience, try the restaurant nearby that serves cuisine from the once independent Hong Kong. We went there the next evening; they get a 5star from me (see my photos for what we ordered there)As for tradition, despite the majority of the negative reviews they get indicating to them that perhaps their service requires improvement, they continue to serve their hotpot customers the way they've always have. Perhaps one day it will also become a tradition to roll their eyes instead of smiling.Will we go back there? Of course! We look forward to going back there when the managment and the tradition changes. Afterall, they enticed us with their misleadind advertisement and we sadly anticipated a great evening and a full belly.

Ate here last night and can safely say it was the best Chinese I've ever had! The young lad serving us was brilliant too!

Idk why the staff is so weird after u order SECOND round and if u unlock your stomach level 3 oh my God they throw the food like u are a Dog not a Human.And they change the quality of the food after round2 always.So rude for someone who is going for the first or second time or even for the other clients.Idk why they call a buffet then...

The spicy and numbing fish is the best I have ever tasted in the UK. Beef noodle is also yummy! The beef bbq skewer omg so nice

Do not know about what their dishes are like, but the bbq is the worst I've ever had in my life. They are deep fried and coated with sweet chilli sauce, salty, cold,nasty. The meat doesn't taste good as well, after one bite, cant eat no more. Such waste of money. Never come again and do not recommend.

Authentic Sichuan food. Portions are big. Coming in the winter and eating a soup or partaking in a hotpot is a fantastic experience. Ask for the Chinese menu. Chili level makes itself known but is not uncomfortable. Staff aren't as bad as people say. Maybe they're picking up their game after all the bad reviews. Make sure you know what you want however, they are a bit clueless when it comes to finding a dish you had before, and with names like "fried chicken with chili" and "boiled fish in chili oil" it can be easy to lose track.
