Popped in for a couple of quick drinks after a tough week at work, first bartender was great. Second bartender clearly didn't want to be there or didn't want to serve me. Waited patiently, then got attitude when I asked to be served.Didn't get a chance to try the food as the glasses were dirty and was hesitant to ask for clean glasses. Don't normally do this sort of review, but ruined my post work week drinks session. Was going to look for a manager to provide constructive criticism, however, I assume they wouldn't care for my feedback.

Food is unreal, great portion sizes, amazing taste and fantastic value for money. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere

Great food, chef Jason is very accommodating and the waitresses are the nicest. Highly recommended. Yard bird tray is served with generous portions, Blue Moon and Czech beer on tap. Ideal for large parties as well

Fantastic food, music and beer! Definitely the place to go for chicken, brisket, BBQ. Great selection of craft and classic beers/ciders. Can't wait to visit again.

Solid BBQ, brisket good, sausage exceptional, sides good, beer decent, staff friendly, toilets not great. Deffo go back for the food and nice staff

Huuuuuge portions and great, attentive staff. Food is tasty, the sausage is particularly good, although not quite up there with American bbq. Toilets could do with some TLC but overall, definitely recommend

Laid back (almost horizontal) staff supply an interesting mix of traditional BBQ and some more unusual items. Platters were quite generous and even I, a 102kg weightlifter, didn't quite finish mine. Sausage was great and the bread was tasty if not a little sweet. Brisket was more of a pulled beef/pork but still tasty nonetheless. We sat outside on a great sunny day, slightly dissapointed in our thick plastic glasses which detracted from the overall quality of the drinks served, (think BBQ, think craft lager in an icy frosted glass). Was a good hangover meal, ample portions and tasty food. Would visit again.

Had the 1/2 ribs tray with corn and sausage which was amazing.Tasted like a proper barbecue.Good drinks selection.Reasonable prices.Toilets are small and need of upgrade.

Gotta say, I had high expectations and was a little disappointed. Had planed to get one of their platers but as I wasn't that hungry I decided to share one with a friend. I'm glad I did! Dirty fries were decent, but the mac an cheese was fairly dry, very little sauce and not particularly flavourful. The meat which was supposed to be the kicker was average, the best part of the meal was probably the sliced gherkins! Overall, definitely didn't draw me to come back again in future.

Well worth a visit! My partner found this place via Instagram so we thought we’d give it a try and it didn’t disappoint. We went on a vey hot day and unlike everyone else there, we decided to sit inside out of the heat.We sat in a corner between the kitchen and bar area so we got to enjoy the banter between the two areas, but sitting there, I got a sudden appreciation of how hard the staff in a busy Northern Quarter bar/eatery do work. One person didn’t realise we were there though and used some, let’s say, choice words to raise morale with the team inside, but hey, no offence was taken, a little swear word here and there doesn’t harm! Some great tunes were being played in the background as well, just loud enough to hear and not overpowering like it can be in some places. All the staff were very cheerful, helpful and polite, a credit to the establishment! The food was good, very good, but a bit too chilli forward for our personal taste, but at the end of the day, it’s sliced chilli, soIt can be removed to your own taste, which is what we did.We had between us the bbq pulled brisket Mac and cheese, Korean chicken tacos, shawarma loaded fries and grilled corn with garlic butter. All very much recommended, the brisket was especially good.Good beer and cocktails too, all easily ordered via the appointed app and delivered quite quickly and always with a smile.Definitely give this place a go if you’re in the area, you’ll enjoy it!
