Great little cafe. Lovely food. Friendly helpful staff.

Seems a nice place to chill have a cocktail or beer even a breakfast (just wish the breakfast was bigger as mine seemed like a child size portion and for best part of a tenner 😬) aside from that go down grab a drink check it out.So the Deli have left a comment : however I was not aware the breakfast I ordered was the smallest one - I was never told about a larger size breakfast for an additional cost.So the owners have replied. I am not sure I’d return mainly due to location and travel time to get there from location.

Carvery sandwich is amazing. I seem to have one every time I'm in the area. And you can't go wrong with a soup as well.

First time tried here for breakfast. Had Eggs Royale plus 2 slices of crispy bacon. Absolutely delicious. Friends had the large breakfasts which also looked great.

I am absolutely blessed to have this deli on my doorstep.Toni and Jane are consummately convivial hosts. Friendly and welcoming.I trust their judgment in terms of taste and quality of food.The carvery sandwiches are to die for. Juicy meat, crispy tatties, lovely onions and perfect gravy.They do phenomenal breakfasts, cooked to your taste. Some people prefer their bacon in some ways, I prefer it well done and it’s magic. Sausages are top notch and eggs are of the highest order and again cooked as requested. If you like runny - ask - if you like firm - ask!The seeded/granary bread for sandwiches is gorgeous and don’t start me on the cakes!!This is a wonderful place and my go-to.

Honestly one of the nicest breakfasts I’ve ever had! Ordered the large full English breakfast however I noticed they did not come with a hash brown, I asked the man working there if they had any smd although they did not he went out of his way to make me something very similar to a hash brown which was Lovley!

The food was great as always, can’t fault it! However, I do think it needs pointing out that one of the chefs (possibly the owner?) doesn’t speak too kindly to his waitressing staff. His wife is always so personable and I couldn’t fault her service, but some comments overheard left a sour taste in the mouth and have put us off going again unfortunately.

Just had an amazing sausage bacon & egg toastie whilst waiting for my wife’s eye appointment to finish around the corner at Optegra. Get in here instead of sitting waiting for your partner in your car. Amazing food and tea with proper leaves. Gorgeous

Oh my days - just had the most gorgeous carvery sandwich. Roast pork with all the trimmings (including cracking) In a fresh soft floury barm. There were crispy roast potatoes on the side with a salad garnish. I can’t recommend highly enough. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and all reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. 5 stars

I highly recommend this little place! The quality of the food and service is fantastic. Our needs were simple - just a picnic in the park for our family gathering (10 people). I phoned up and Jane was able to cater for our needs and at a very reasonable price. Everything was ready as agreed. I do wish we were local to be regular customers, but I do implore local residents to support this lovely little business!
