this USED to be the nicest chinese n the last twice its been dreadful ...dry dry chicken infact the meat quality needs a look at ...greasy n just funky ...im done i wont be back ....gutted as been a loyal customer for many years ...

First time ordering from this place, as it it has fairly good reviews.Firstly they missed an item, so we went back to collect it and they tried charging us again.The ok sauce tastes like vinegar and the noodles were too salty. Only take cash which is a bit dodgy especially when the order is over £20.Will not be ordering from here again

Awesome. But… they should probably expect a visit from the tax man. Don’t turn up without cash, they don’t accept any form of card payment.

I ordered the Seaweed Combination starter for a change, unfortunately it was very disappointing. The portion size is brilliant for the price however there was zero taste. Everything was so dry and crunchy. I was trying so hard to enjoy it but I just felt exhausted after eating it. All I could taste was grease, salt and fat. BBQ ribs should be moist, sticky and fall off the bone, instead it was like eating carpet cuttings. The chips were way too greasy, they’d be sat in oil for too long. I don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon sadly. The extra star is for the portion sizes which they did well on.

Have used canton house many times. Ordered for my family last night January 14th a d was so so dissatisfied the ribs were terrible. The food was like warm and was very greasy. Wont be going back for a while very disappointed

having ordered a takeaway on Wed 15th ,we received the food which was gorgeous by the way . However the delivery driver tried to charge an extra 1 pound on top of the agreed price upon arguing the point I gave him the price I was already charged when the food was ordered he snatched the money off me and went off in a huff. My point is if he is charging an extra pound every delivery without people realising he is being out of order everytime.

Tried to order a takeaway by phone from this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and in the middle of the order the lady said that the delivery charge would be £4 as it is 5 miles away according to google maps. I live 1.3 miles away and can walk it in 20 minutes. She then kept me holding on for 10 minutes whilst she chatted in chinese to her boss. I then told them I would go elsewhere as we were getting nowhere. She then phoned back to say that she agreed it was close by but I said we had gone to another restaurant as we were anxious to put an order in.
