Amazing food at good prices. Staff are so helpful and friendly too! My favourite place to go for a meal! I love this place!

The ultimate hidden gem in Manchester!Beautiful food, great service and a lovely ambience to eat in.Perfect for low key special occasions.I would note that there aren't many vegetarian or any fish options - but when the meat and sides are this good, you don't need them!Ive been numerous times and Choupan always delivers! The meat is super tender and all the accompinaments are full of flavour. The fresh naan is amazing and I'd recommend the aubergine starter (I belive it's called bourhani) - never had it anywhere else and it's super delicious.Portion sizes a huge, you could easily have 1 main between 2 if you order starters/sides.100% recommend!

I came here on Saturday and it was amazing the lady was very sweet and nice also so the man who served us was so nice and respectfull recommended a lot

Had to try this place after hearing good things. As soon as we walked in I loved the decor of the place - small but looked very traditional and a good atmosphere. We had no reservations but they managed to seat us even though they were quite busy. The male waiter was very helpful, he explained different dishes to us and recommended us a few to try.Starters were lovely where we had some soup and an aubergine dish, the naan alongside it was fresh and really good. Unfortunately, the mains let us down massively. The qaabli pulao had really tender lamb shank but no flavour. The chicken skewers were far too overcooked and became really dry. The dupiyaza was the only dish we enjoyed.Honestly wouldnt go again based off the food experience which was disappointing because the place looked so good, maybe it was an off day. Feel like there are much better Persian places in Manchester.

One of the best tasty places for Afghani cuisines. Calm place and very well served meals. Authentic.

Decided to visit Choupan today after a few recommendations from friends.It was a small but classic restaurant with Afghan and Iranian style deco and surroundings.The menu was short but had most of the popular dishes. We ordered Iranian style rice with lamb shank, Manto and Lamb chops.Everything was cooked to perfection and the taste was spot on.Finished our meal with a cup of green tea.The bill came to £38 which isn't bad at all considering the quality of food and service we received.Will be visiting again soon.I have attached some pics of the food we ordered and they tasted as good as they look.

Choupan is an authentic dining experience with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff here are passionate about their Afghani cuisine and heritage - this is clear from the food!Overall, a great place for Afghani food, highly recommend you visit!

The best Qabli dish in the UK....😋 😍 It's not cheap and the meal of rice is not big But Choupan is no 1 in food quality....but in customer service is Zero.....I wish if they teach the front service guys how to deal with customers or at least to smile....

The Best Persian Resturant in Manchester 👍🤩we must drive 90 min every Sunday for Dupiaze and Lambchops 😍
