We were here during college summer break, so presumably much calmer then typical. Extremely quiet and agreeable in the old science library. Great food and drink. Will go once more. Will go once more

Very pretty on the inside since it's an old library. Cosy and casual atmosphere. The coffee was quite good, but the sandwiches were underwhelming given their prices (~£8). Definitely a good place to visit for coffee, cake and a chat.

Perfect for a quick bitr between lectures.A nice, quiet place to get some work done too if you want to change from the library environment. Has an old-timey & fancy vibe that's just lovely.Staff is super friendly and accommodating!

It was a bit strange sensation to have a drink and a cake in a library, and there weren't too many seats available but the overall experience was worthy because the food was great (fruit punch and ref velvet cake), the place looked bright and tidy and I had a good time.

Good food in a wonderful classically designed building. The dining room has bookshelves dotted around, has high ceilings, is airy and has portraits of University luminaries. Impressive.

Beautiful cafe with very tasty and only slightly expensive food and drink - if you can find somewhere to sit! Unfortunately since they've started putting signs outside, students have found it and will camp sofas for the whole day with one coffee. Still, when it's quiet or if you're nearby pop in.
