Escape Lounge T1 in Manchester

As expected. Hearty help yourself breakfast, coffee, tea, fruit juice etc. Easy to find, not at all crowded at 6 am. Bar too if you're mad enough to drink alcohol at that time! If you're tall, mind your head at the tea counter too.

It's a perfectly suitable lounge and they tend to have a nice selection of meals and snacks. The reason for the low review is their indiscriminate policy around entry. They'll often say they can't accept anyone else despite having visibly available seats and then change their mind when you ask why when you can see seats.

First time and worthwhile food and drinks are good 👍 and relaxing

Pleasant and calm atmosphere with helpful staff and a good range of drinks and snacks. The hot soup was tasty, along with the chickpea curry and Bombay potatoes. A very nice first try of an airport lounge.

Went Friday afternoon. Salad bar, soup, 2 hot meals available, one vegetarian then some cheeses and cake for afters. They have single seat pods with flip tables if you want to work and staff are efficient and professional. I think a broader range of food would make it 5* but terrific value and dome peace and quiet.

Standard non-airline lounge. Not half as good as the sadly now closed BA lounge. Very average food with minimal choice for vegetarians. No views out so it's a bit claustrophobic and you need to leave the lounge to use the toilet. However the seats are comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We visited in January & had a full loyalty card. We handed it to the lady on reception who gave us a form to fill in to receive our free visit. Unfortunately l haven't received any contact from them at all. I've sent a few emails & heard nothing!! We've been loyal customers for years & just feel disappointed at the lack of professionalism.

First time we had used the Escape lounge, had everything we required. The staff were helpful and continually tidied and cleaned. We would definitely go again. Only disadvantage cannot see the runway, but well worth it, have recommended to family and friends.

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. Food was great service was fantastic and it's very reasonable price. Staff lovely and it was peaceful place to wait for my flight. Will definitely return

Nice lounge with hot & cold self service food. I came during breakfast & they had a good selection of items for a full English breakfast. You’ll also find a good range of alcoholic drinks available from beer to prosecco.The lounge has comfortable seating areas, they are available to be reserved. If you are using a priority pass you may find it difficult to enter during busy times.
