I love a good chip shop and Fish Bait Fish Bar is one of the best chip shops in Manchester, if not the North West.The chip shop is split into two sections. On the right is a small walkway that leads to the counter for takeaway orders. On the left or on the front patio is for eating in with table service.The fish and chips are excellent and as you would expect from any good ‘chippy’ there are a couple of different fish to choose from. It’s not all about the fish though they also have a great range of pies and also battered halloumi for the vegetarians. They have an alcohol license and a couple of local ales and wines recommended from Reserve Wines next door.This is a fantastic traditional fish and chip shop with a twist. I’ve always had great food and great service here.

Not the best, the chips were verging on white, barely cooked and cold... I won't be going back...
