Finally found a decent Chinese take away! Gorgeous food & fast delivery. Large portions & good prices. Spent a year in Manchester & this is the best Chinese I've had since being here. Will be my first choice from now on.

I have been meaning to write a review for years, I love golden lake and Maggie herself so warm and friendly, she works tirelessly with her partner and produces the best food in the area and what’s more impressive is her English range is better than any other too, I usually go for the salt & pepper chicken, crispy chilli beef, noodles, rice and curry sauce, can get 4 plates for a little over £15 with prawn crackers, see you tonightMaggie.Stephen

Very good Chinese food place and the best value for your money of the Chinese places in the withington/didsbury area. Amazing chicken chow mein, chicken balls, and tasty English food as well. Definitely worth trying.

Best Chinese chippy takeaway in Manchester. We always order from here and when we can't (because they're closed on Sundays) no other places are as good or as cheap. The portions are also a better size than other places we've tried. They do both Chinese and English very very well.
