Golden Sea in Manchester

Placed an order on Thursday and found that apart from being overpriced food was cold. Friday I went back to Miramar which is less than a mile away and we enjoyed our Chinese much more than the day before

Very good and fast at delivery the battered king prawn dish in garlic and chilli is amazing i order that quite often with noodles its the best and prawn dumpling is delicious food is always fresh 👍

Too many onions and a rip off! They don't even chop the onions really. If you're thinking of food from this place you'd be better off saving your money or getting the ingredients to make it yourself.

This restaurant is an absolute scam they took 39 pound out of my friends account and said it was on the way to just eat an hour later then another hour later we still had no food and the restaurant did not anewer and just eato said the only way to get a refund was to contact the restaurant which did not answer the scam artisSt's should be stopped it is an absolute joke

Really bad food, would never go here again. The salt and pepper chicken was greasy and bland, the curry and sweet and sour sauce had a strange taste to them. And the prawn crackers weren't crunchy.We ordered crispy noodles - what came were noodles which looked like they'd just been taken out of a super Noodle packet and not even cooked. I don't know if this is just the style of their crispy noodles? But I've never had crispy noodles like this from any other Chinese. Couldn't eat them at all.To top it off, we paid double the price for this than what we'd pay at any other Chinese!

Considering it cost more than a small house and we waited two hours for some rice, toast and sauce I was more than underwhelmed. For the price, I expected more than soggy toast, cold flavourless rice and sauce that smells like my nan's farts. Furthermore, as someone on just eat wisely said, the prawn crackers sadly lacked any crack. Cheers, sons crying.

I ordered the szechuan beef, and my partner had the beef in black pepper sauce. We had our meals with a portion of fried rice, soft noodles and salt and pepper chips.The Chinese food was terrific. We'd actually go as far to say it ranks among the best we've had in and around Manchester. The chips we're a bit of a let down however.The price was a little more than you'd normally pay for a comparable Chinese take away, but definitely worth it.The only other negative was the wait for the food. All in all, 4 stars seems fair.

Ordered omelette and chips, which was £8.30 and sweet and sour chicken which was £8.70. The omelette was either re-heated several times or it was egg powder used and not real eggs as it crumbled - for £8.30 I would expect real eggs! The chips had obviously been re-fried and were all hard and unpalatable! The chicken was 'ok' nothing special though. This chinese has massively inflated prices and the food is either rubbish or ok. I wont be ordering from this chinese again.

Went and ordered a gorgeous meal last night. Started with Crispy Duck with pancakes. Then sweet and sour chicken and chicken Chow Mein. All was really nice. Will definately be back.
