Happy Seasons in Manchester

Not bad for a quick meal but the price does not reflect the quality. The publicity on social media is very effective as it what attracted me to eating there but I don't think I will return.

Fantastic taste, especially with the char Sui and roast duck. However, they always sold out so quickly, not even busy hour yet.

Staff are super friendly and the food tastes nice. The duck wasn’t too fatty or oily like another place we tried in Manchester, it was perfect!The other dish, chicken in peking, was also nice! Not too much flavouring which is the way TRADITIONAL dishes in Hong Kong are cooked.Can’t wait to visit again!!

Very tasty restaurant in the heart of Manchester's Chinatown. The staff were very friendly and explained the different things on the menu when we didn't know what they were. The portion size is very big which is good, but they charge you 50p forneach takeaway container so be warned. There is huge range of food in all sorts of sizes such as platters and sharing plates as well as individual dishes. They also deliver too. There is plenty of food suitable for vegetarians too. Will definitely visit again.

We had lunch at this restaurant today and it's our first time to try this place.We ordred 3 dishes:- Dual Roast Meat with Rice(Roast duck & pork belly)Crispy pork belly, the skin wasn't crispy at all, roast duck barely had any meat and flavor, all I could taste was just the sauce they pour on the dish.The side dish Chinese leaf, it's just boiled, no seasoning at all.I've tried many Hong Kong roast meat in Asian, be honestly the roast meat here wasn't that wow as I thought.- Beef Chow Mein SoupThe soup itself taste good, and we liked the texture of the noodles.- Special Boiled Rice(House special meat in seafood)The dish full of shrimp, mushrooms, some kind of fishcake (we guess?), meat, carrot, Chinese leaf, pork scratchings, and some other ingredients we weren't sure what were they.The flavor was a bit plain, so my partner order extra chilli oil (£0.50)- Chilli OilThe flavor was good, it's a bit spicy.It made the rice and noodles have extra tasty flavor. (£0.50 extra for chilli oil or any other sauces)Overall the place was ok, I would say the roast meat is a bit too overpraised.Surprisingly the chilli oil was our favourite in all dishes.

Really busy Chinese restaurant there was a queue but the menu had a good selection of food the service was really good even though it was busy

3rd time here, I like it very much. 🍗🦆Again we did the two meats with rice (they run out of pork🐽 fast) it’s Thursday night and place is crowded, there was a queue of 10 people when I left my amazing presence from this place, vibe is homey and simple, staff is friendly and respectful, they have a secret MENU 😉🖖🏽🇨🇳 and I got my delicious Congee soup of it, yummy! Prices are ok.Have a blessed dinner.

Amazing food..been coming here for over 8 years and never had a bad experience. Can sometimes be a short wait for a table, but it is more than worth it!A brilliant selection of authentic and traditional Chinese food.The Dim sum is out of this world, and no other restaurants come close to the Happy sessions mixed meat's!

The restaurant is small but the Chinese dishes are fantastic. One of the dishes I ordered was noodle with barbecued pork. The pork was fat, tender but not oily. That’s why a long queue queued up outside. I tried to order Dim Sum but a waiter headed up us that it may take longer time for being steamed, so I did not place.

I had high hopes for the place as the queues were crazy every time I pass there. Anyway I managed to finally get a spot and it turned out to be a total disappointment:1) ordered a three roast, and the duck was the best part but also just okay, I had better and three roast else where for cheaper prices. Soy chicken is too salty.2) beef noodles, it was just THE WORST noodle I had, just AVOID. Hate the noodle texture, the soup was blank mixed with some weird thick sauce that wasn’t mixed properly and even the Chinese cabbage tastes funny …3) also the worst dimsums I ever had, tasted disgusting can’t even finish 1 and asked for dipping vinegar and it was absolutely no dipping vinegar but some cheap vinegar that was not meant for dipping.I would avoid this place.
