Went for family dinner and wasnt happy with the service and food quality. Price is over charge.Have to pay for chili oil and mustard for roast pork. £1 for mustard. Order missing after confirming with a member of staff.Ordered Pork with Plum Vegetables. No taste of plum vegetables, only the sweetness.Ordered Brisket and radish, radish is not soft.Ordered rice, too small and not enough for everyone. When paying the bill, is too confusing. Did not list well. Been told to leave table to speak to the manger .Why do i have leave my table, why cant the manger come over to explain the bill ?

Bland, semi-expensive food with nasty service. Singapore noodles were nice, though generic. Other portions were huge, but 70% rice (8 people). Food only lukewarm. Many items on the menu not available. Our waiter told us off for 'being too slow', walked off mid-order, and was especially rude to our Chinese colleague. We also had to take the final price on trust, as this was not explained and seemed high (didn't check - maybe 15-20% service charge?). In short, many better options available and more deserving. They also have a huge fish in a small tank, if you care about that kind of thing. Avoid, despite its promise.

We've been going to Pearl City for over 30 years...Sadly Lockdown put Pearl City out of business. But this place we discovered is even better, recommended by the local Cantonese community. This place was packed out with many Hong Kong people themselves...Always a good sign.We are instant new fans of Jade City....My younger brother from Kensington in the picture also gave it a fumbs up.He was over here filming The Manchester United V Manchester City for Sky Sports TV at old Trafford. He is a globe trotting restaurant expert. We enjoyed & will call again.

This restaurant is located on 1st floor but its worthy to make some steps to find decent, authentic Chinese food with good service. Big menu with lot of options but dim sum menu is available only from 12 - 5.30 pm.Hot and sour soup smashing, fried rice to die for and dim sum starter platter fantastic. All food we tried were tasty and fresh.Edit 02/2022: we came back for Dim Sum menu and it was fantastic !!!

We have been going for meals here for over 30 years. We have never been disappointed. The building its self and the decor is in dire need of repairs. But with this restaurent we are always willing to over look the slight roughness of the room. There are always plenty of customers there, and mostly of the Chinese community. The food is always fresh and delicious, and not too salty like alot of other Chinese restaurent foods. Definatley worth a trip.

First time I've visited China Town in Manchester. Glad we chose this restaurant, Very tasty food and all cooked how I would expect, decor is a bit dated and reminded me of by-gone years but forget about this and enjoy the food, the staff were really helpful, nice and attentive. If you're out for Chinese food in Manchester I would definitely recommend a visit here.

Service were very quick and friendly. The food was gorgeous. We tucked into dim sum and soup for a quick lunch. It was delicious and authentic! My only complaint would be the bathrooms. These were up some stairs so not entirely accessible. They were also dated and not completely clean. I think these bathrooms need a quick revamp! Lick of paint, maybe some new sinks/doors and a good scrub. Other than that, a lovely place to dine for the whole family!

Amazing as always. Went on a Sunday for dimsum but also got the pork noodles and Peking duck. Cannot fault anything, also the service was great! Can't wait to come back 😊

My parents' favourite for dim sum when they come to visit us in Manchester. We usually walk there as parking is expensive in city centre / Chinatown. Friendly service and the food is in decent portion at reasonable price. Highly recommended for dim sum in city centre.
