I have to say I have been to many Afternoon teas in my life but this venue and afternoon tea was far the most amazing one I have ever been. My partner is from another country and she hasn't experienced what they are like. So she absolutely amazed with everything she tasted.The unlimited prosecco was also yummy too!!The quality and presentation of the food was sensational!The staff were very friendly and helpful in everyway possible!The service was 5 star and very professional!! Thank you to all!!

Came for the valentines menu, it was absolutely stunning! I literally couldnt fault anything! Absolutely brilliant

Very high-end restaurant, the waiter's attitude is very good. The wine tastes great too, but may not be particularly suitable for Asian stomachs

Firstly I’m gonna comment on the 1star reviews which I feel are mostly undeserved and not realistic. Obviously personal perception is key but if your going to visit this place expecting the highest “finest” dining experience on a £30 tester menu you need to wobble ya head. This is really good food at a great price forget who’s name is over the door as it’s just a name Jamie boy ain’t in the kitchen is he?Visited this evening for the first time as a treat for my wife’s birthday.Food - very good indeed, had the spicy duck, plaice to start followed by a10oz ribeye and sirloin. Duck was amazing as was plaice, I’d have liked a little more duck breast but I’m greedy. The steak was exceptional, maybe the best I’ve had in that price range. Deserts were average but in fairness I didn’t go for the sweets and left feeling very full and satisfied.Location - yes it’s inside a casino and it is a little odd walking past a load of middle age men losing their wages to the house but it’s a brief walk and worth it. restaurant itself had good decor, clean and a lot of steps, I’m sure if they have a lift to the restaurant, didn’t see it and if not wheelchair users may struggle ask before booking if this is important for you.Staff - all polite, well dressed, clean and tentative without being a pester. Service was also fast and consistent without too much waiting for food.Overall, this is a great bistro with great food at a good value for money price point and I’d encourage anyone in the area to pay them a visit. I for sure will be back.Book a table now!

Always fabulous food, Always reasonably priced with a lovely atmosphere and excellent service. Impressed that they had read my booking regards to a dietary requirement for one of our party and asked who it was so that she could be catered for appropriately, without us having to mention it. Well done to all on a superb service and consistently high standard of delicious food

Incredible dining experience!The menu is very varied and has lots of interesting and unique dishes.The Thai crab risotto was rich but refreshing. My highlight was the tart tatin with tatin flavoured ice cream!Our waitress Kelly was also very attentive and enthusiastic about the menu.

Yes yes and yes. Came here for a Sunday roast and wasn’t disappointed. Great service, fast and friendly. Roast dinner was spot on with tasty gravy and all came out piping hot. The sticky toffee pudding really stole the show though. Two courses for £25, can’t fault it.Warning: you can only access the restaurant via the casino using the doors on the OUTSIDE of the building. Bit of an intelligence test finding the place!

First impressions were welcoming and relaxing. The decor suits the place with a selection of boothed seating and tables. The staff are welcoming,friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The meals we had were delicious and to start we were offered sourdough with a beef dripping dip,salt and a foam like butter altogether a beautiful start to our meal. Perhaps the only disappointment for me was the dahl which was too salty for my taste but the coriander foam ontop was beautiful.

Honestly was amazing! Delicious food, cooked to perfection! No long waiting times! We came for the steak and wine deal, can not fault the service our server Daniel was very attentive and polite! And desert was the best sticky toffee pudding we have ever had! Special mention to the chef! Definitely will be recommending to others and returning for another lovely date night!

Didn't feel comfortable initially walking through the casino to the restaurant as the entrance from car park/plaza was closed off.Taster menu was nice as a one off to try things we wouldn't necessarily order. Surprised by how nice the confi carrot was when my partner hates carrot.Small portions so had to order a side of chips 🤣🤣 to fill me up.Dessert was a big surprise as not what we would normally have but was so nice we didn't even have time for a picture.If I was going again I wouldn't drive in so could enjoy the accompanying drinks.We had a voucher for the meal but order came to £88 but couldn't use the rest as a tip as the company absorbs this so instead we bought our waitress drinks from the rest.Excellent service. Just a shame the floor was dirty 😏 and were attacked by a moth 😅
