K2 Karaoke Nightclub in Manchester

Would not recommend or ever return. Door security was very abrupt and aggressive. ID was scanned into a computer on arrival. When we asked why, they did not give a clear answer which is quite concerning.God help anyone that enters the premises drunk as the handrail was alarmingly loose.Service charge on top or service charge. Had planned to have a few drinks in the booth but refused to order any more due to the never ending service charge. £43 for 3 single vodka and lemonade. At this price, you would expect to be treated a little better from the staff.Seems like we had a lucky escape after reading other reviews about the extortionate prices.We could of possibly stomached a night in this venue if the staff had a smile and did not give off the impression that they didn't want to be there.We was rudely interrupted a few time during our session, reminding us of the time we had left by standing in front of the lyric tv. Then rushed out immediately on the dot without even asking if we had enjoyed ourselves.The vibe I got from this venue is something from the film hostel.

Do not bother!Sack your bouncers!! Rude, entitled idiots!We booked a room for a party paid a deposit and were a little late only to find when we arrived they had given our 2 hour slot away and turned us away. Absolutely ruined our night and the guy on the door was the least helpful person on earth. Rude. Unhelpful. Disrisoectful human. We asked to speak to a manager only to be told to call a number which was unavailable. Please do not go here find somewhere else!!!

Arrived and everyone in our party had ID checked and good security, unfortunately it went down hill from here staff wise.We were told we could pay via cash/ card but upon arrival it was card only. We were a big party of 12 people and had collected it all in cash but we had to pay by card. We were taken to our room and explained how to use everything then the staff left and we had a fun time.The tablet didn't keep record if how much money we had left and was confusing- this ended up us over spending by £40+ which could have been avoided.We were told at 8.10 we had 20 minutes left which was correct, however the man who showed us the room came in at 8.15 and demanded we left the room despite it being before our time. He argued with us then called 2 security members to remove us... we tried to politely explain that our time wasn't up til 8.30, he then said our time stated as soon as we entered the building... even though we were told to arrive 10 minutes early to do ID checks and payment! We left the room and nipped to the bathroom before our taxi home.. we were followed by security and told we had to leave and were not allowed to use the facilities before leaving! We went and closed the door once they finally allowed us to go... the 6ft+ Bouncer then opened the door and tried standing in the door! The staff were rude, hostile and intimidating! When we spoke to other groups who were paying at the same time as said they faced the sane situation... demanded to leave early with a bill at the end despite being sure they/ we didn't go over!This could be such a good place with the correct staff!

Had one of the best nights ever here! The place is really cool and the staff inside the club are LOVELY. The bouncers are the reason why they lose a star though. We went on a Sunday night and they’d just tell us it’d be impossible to go in without a reservation. I called them from the front door, and they just didn’t understand why were they saying no to us. So they contacted the bouncers to let us in and they did in a kinda rude way. So just keep that in mind! But it’s worth it. Will definitely go again soon.

This was the best night. We had a party of 12 and had such a good time. We will definitely be coming back. The things which lost it a star was the having to queue outside which meant some people from the party didn't get the full 2 hours we paid for and also the lagging on some of the music videos. But overall it was a brill night. Plus the staff were great.

Me and my friend stumbled across here yesterday night. Two hours of pure fun !Staff are very friendly and helpful! - The bouncers were polite and funny.Karoke booths are amazing !

Came here for a friend's birthday and it was really good. We sang karaoke whilst ordering drinks and food for the party and had a really great time. The room looks amazing with a nice LED light theme. Staff were also very good and made sure we had everything we needed. Only reason I am giving it a 4 star review is the room was a little on the small side. I am sure they have a variety of different sized rooms available though.

this place is amazing! having read the reviews i was quite skeptical to come here but me and my friend booked a 2 hour karaoke session and it was so much fun. the doormen were friendly, we got seated in our room straightaway and our drinks came very quickly too. we both can’t wait to come again!

So we spontaneously decided to go karaoke and they were very accommodating and welcoming and sorted out a karaoke rooms for us when we didn’t have a booking. Armani was our host and she was AMAZING 🤩 she helped us out with anything we asked and was very friendly 🙏🏽 Would deffo come again just for how amazing her hosting was. Overall, it was a good night ❤️

We had a wedding party booked for 9 people and absolutely loved it. Prior to going, we found the email and site instructions for entry were very clear. All guests knew to bring a valid form of ID and proof of address.We had to add on another guest which was simple to do. We rang them on the day and had no problems.When entering the venue I confirmed the booking name and got in without any fuss (I'm laboring this point because a lot of review comments mention difficulties with the bouncers).We really liked the room, and it was spacious enough to fit 10 people comfortably. The drinks prices were fair, and with our booking we didn't really end up overspending on drinks.The staff were friendly and attentive. At one point a microphone ran out of battery and we requested help. A staff member came over almost instantly and replaced the battery.Finally, after reading the comments about the song list and honestly being worried about a lack of song choices, what did I find? An absolute wealth of songs. Honestly, it had a little bit of everything and I was and still am surprised they had loads of Lil Peep!!!Absolutely loved our time there and will certainly come back soon.Go and have a fabulous time!
