Nice place, good food, really friendly staff!

A disappointing lunch, my fish finger sandwich was overcooked, dry and tasteless, I had to use most of the very small pot of tartare sauce intended for the fries, to make it edible. The fries were also bitty and dry.The proportions of the apple and quince crumble were wrong, a thin layer of crumble on a deep layer of stewed fruit, similar to puréed baby food. Again, a tiny pot of custard, totally inadequate. Why so mean ?

Great food. Great atmosphere. Went on a Saturday afternoon, started to really fill up around 5 pm. Parking isn't too plentiful as a very busy area. Ideally park elsewhere and walk over.

My son and I were very cold and hungry on Beech Road Saturday night turned away from everywhere the pub we were in decided to close the kitchen 2 hours early???? Lead Station squeezed us in the food was amazing and the staff smiling and welcoming. Great atmosphere and we were served quickly even though they were busy. We will definitely be back.

We've been here countless times over the years & it's consistently good. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Decent vegetarian options. The wine choice is basic but good. The service is always friendly.

Wonderfully average. Nice pub with a classic facade and a modern slick interior. Food menu items are classic, change regularly and usually incorporate some seasonal elements. Staff are friendly.

Popped in after being let down by a neighbouring bar. Made space, lovely service in a great setting, wonderful friendly service who were really nice to our little boy, and great food. Really enjoyed it.

Can’t thank the staff and the lead station enough. First time the family have all been in the same room since 2007 and it was made all the more special by The Lead Station! The food was amazing, staff super friendly (thank you Anne and Ellie!), the room was beautiful and organisation faultless!! THANK YOU would highly recommend for food, drinks and family gatherings you don’t want to host at home!! They will look after you perfectly! XXX

My first time eating here. I/we really enjoyed the experience. Very friendly staff, delicious food. Will definitely be going back soon.

I last visited here years ago and I'm glad the place is still going. The chicken wings starter was very nice. My companions had the steak/chips and duck and they were all very happy with the quality. I had the chicken tagliatelle which was ok though slightly bland in taste. Ice cream dessert awesome.
