Michael Caines Restaurant at ABode Manchester in Manchester

This is a lovely hotel with exceptional staff! I unfortunately tested COVID positive during my visit to Manchester and quarantined in Abode. They went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable despite the tricky circumstances. The front desk was always there to help and the manager went the extra mile in understanding and helping make my stay better than I could’ve imagined given the situation! Would highly recommend. And if you’re healthy during your stay unlike me and able to get outside, the location is perfect! Right by Picadilly station and many cute cafés, pubs, within a short walk. Amazing place!

This was my first experience staying in a hotel and I have to say that it entirely met my expectations.The concierge staff were polite and helpful. And the rooms were spacious and clean. I ended up having a great night's sleep and check out was simple and easy.I would definitely recommend and I plan to come again.

Stayed one night when we watched Madness & Squeeze at Manchester Arena.Beautiful place to stay.Excellent reception staff,very helpful.Arrived early but room was ready. Massive bedroom & bed. Large bathroom. Drinks tray was fabulous, lots of choice.Was impressed for price we paid. Will definitely stay again & will recommend to friends and family.

Ok but a bit noisy at the front and the bar was closed while I was there. Decent position for city centre and the local discounted car park is very close.

Crackingly quirky and idiosyncratic, this former textile warehouse mixes industrial grandeur with boutique hotel chic with great aplomb. Beds may be a bit low for people with mobility issues so check first. Good breakfast and very obliging staff. A good choice for a central location.

Stayed here with my wife for a long weekend bed & breakfast, we booked direct with the hotel, room was lovely and clean. Staff were attentive throughout our stay, the hotel itself is well located in Manchester and everything is walking distance from hotel, public transport good food and other amenities. No problems with our stay and I left my shoes the staff have since mailed them back to me, super helpful in this regard. Thank you for a lovely stay

The staff were amazing but each of the three rooms we were given failed to deliver. We paid £170 for a standard double and the first room was tiny with pollyfiller and rawlplugs spattered across the wall. We were moved to another room which was better but still not what a £170 room is. While I appreciate that prices were high this weekend I would still expect more for my money. Finally we were moved to a suite on the top floor. At first we thought it was amazing; great layout; great bathroom and huge bed. Unfortunately when we came back after our night out there was a pungent smell of sewage emanating from the bathroom which was making its way into the bedroom. I really wanted to be blown away by Abode having walked past it so many times but unfortunately was left with such a bad taste in my mouth even though the staff tried to rectify every issue. Ultimately you can have the best staff in the business but if you don’t look after the rooms you’re going to eventually fail. I hope senior management read this and do the necessary work to the rooms as all the staff we met made our stay bearable but were massively let down by the standard of the rooms.

Not my favourite hotel in Manchester but had a few plus points. The bed was extra large and very comfortable. The room was clean and had a little Bluetooth speaker which was handy. However, we ate in the restaurant downstairs and the food and service was rather disappointing. I’d stay again but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

Highly recommend this hotel! They were kind enough to set up balloons I had sent and upgraded us since we booked directly to them. Also parking for only £10/day and staff was very nice. Rooms were very nicely decorated and modern. Some noise from above and outside due to other guests but nothing crazy. Will def stay here again!
