There’s no polite way to put this. But the food from this establishment was absolutely disgraceful. Fish and chips were both greasy and when we went back to show them, no acknowledgment or a single apology whatsoever.

I cannot express how disgusted I am with this restaurant and especially the female who refused to give me her name when I called them about my order. If I could give one piece of advice to anyone it would be to not order from here. I placed my order and just after paying I saw plenty of reviews on just eat that stated parts of peoples order were missing. When the driver arrived , I asked him to wait so I could check my order and something was missing. I immediately called the chippy as the driver didn’t know what to do and I spoke to a young female who without even checking my order or my name knew what was missing and said that the scallops weren’t ready. I said why did you send the order if it wasn’t all there. I said I didn’t want the rest of the items because she was very rude and she said tough luck you will only get a refund for the scallop. I asked her why so many reviews said items were Missing and she laughed and then I asked her name and she cut me off. Really disgusted. The large chips portion wasn’t large also

My usual lunch time haunt. Love the lady on the counter, always friendly and welcoming!

·

The best breakfast and chippy around. The 2 girls serving are so pleasant 👍

·

It's not a posh place. However the fish and chips are excellently cooked in vegetables oil. The breakfast is also excellent. 👌

·

Great fish, amazing chili and friendly service. It does get pretty busy around lunch time but usually fairly quick service.

A great British chippy! Also if you feel like you need to cut your life short you can ask for (hot is a understatement) extra hot sauce... But be warned. Popped some on the bosses chips today and I think I've lost a friend and a colleague 😂Other than that pop in.

absolutely amazing. Friendliest people ever. Delicious food. However they should stop with the kebab. Just stay with the fish and chips.

Disgraceful service from this place... We waited nearly 15 minutes for this garbage which wasn't even a whole order as items were missing. And they hadn't even started another order we placed when we were given this, a total of 8 people were in the place so it wasn't exactly busy. The guy warming the food up at the back was clearly unhappy that he couldn't go somewhere and basically stood back smiling watching the place go under.

Loads of people recommended this place to go for lunch so I thought it would be great. Bought a chicken burger and chips and gravy and this is the chicken burger...no salad, no mayo nothing and none of the staff even asked if I wanted any with it I assumed it would come with a little bit of salad so I didnt think to ask for it. The burger itself tastes cheap. Pretty poor IMO! Chips and gravy was alright, but no different to any other fish and chips
