Munch Restaurant in Manchester

Food is amazing, address needs to be updated on Apple Maps and shop sign says ‘Munch’ instead of ‘Noodle Munch’

Been waiting for this place to open ever since they told me that Leo who used to own the Goldengate was going to be their Head Chef. Sad to say that The Goldengate has never been the same without him and his Mrs but great to see him back and the food is as good as ever - the curry sauce is the best!

Happy days! Do you know how long I've waited for a decent halal Chinese takeaway to open in Manchester??? It was worth the wait. The crab soup was beautiful and the Szechuan Chicken was given the thumbs up by my mum , who's not even a Chinese food fan! I'll be telling all my halal Chinese loving people, that it's time to eat. No issues with delivery for me, thankfully.

I love Chinese food, but usualy have to travel out of Manchester to find it. So happy that this popped up. Just finished eating some steak and prawns. Both were real nice. I'll tell my mates about this place. I'd read that the delivery was late, but my food was here in half an hour, tho 20 minutes is better.

Late night craving of Chinese and I found this little gem. I'd never heard of them before and I understand that they are brand new. I ordered some spring rolls and a Chicken Chow Mein. The food was tasty and the flavours were fresh. If it hadn't have been for the 1 hour wait, I would have been totally satisfied, but I appreciate that they are new. The customer service was excellent and I look forward to trying new dishes.

Not usually the type to leave a review but I felt compelled to after waiting almost two and half hours for what I can only describe as the blandest Chinese I’ve ever had; prawn toast was soggy, black pepper beef was almost flavourless and the egg fried rice was very dry. Staff were very apologetic but that’s not enough to make up for the poor standard of the food and the severe waiting time. I hope the criticism is taken on board and I wish you well with your business.

Order took over 2 hours to arrive. Credit to the staff who were genuinely nice and apologetic about the time it took, wouldnt have felt I needed to leave a negative review if the food itself was actually worth the wait. Probably the worst Chinese I've ever had. None of the food had any flavour and both myself and my housemate had a miserable experience eating this food we had waited so long for. Avoid!

Sorry to give a negative comment but i spent 18bucks. The food was the blandest chinese i ever had in my life! I ordered due to some reviews which mentioned authentic Pakistani chinese but Pakistani chinese is never like that. I felt may b they just made the food in few mins n sent it no spice such plain chicken in chicken cashewnut n such bland chicken noodels infact they were not noodles they were those thin vermecile. Really sorry 😞 i know restaurants are struggling but pls deliver qhat you show or atleast similar to what u chow on ur website pics or restaurant google pics. Highly disappointed.Only The ingredients were fresh nothing else was there in them.

Food was late and then there was a super long hair in my food. Won't be ordering again.

First time trying this place, was decent, the food was fresh and tasty and it came fairly quickly.
