Food was reheated from a few days agoI got the mixed starters none of which was fresh. Came on a plate with ghee on the bottom probably microwavedThe curry was also not freshThere was no salad served. And the drinks come in pints. Waste of money dont bother

This restaraunt is well worth a visit, we arrived at 10pm with no booking and they were happy to serve us. Really interesting menu with a wide range of Nepali dishes, specials and the Momo's were incredible. Helpful, polite and attentive staff who made sure everything was perfect. Good range of drinks and wines available to including Cobra on draught. Thanks for a lovely meal guys 😍

Service was appalling. The restaurant was overrun with takeaway orders which meant people dining in had to wait 1:30th for food. The staff were reluctant to engage with diners and we had to actively flag down waiters for updates, ordering food, even the bill. The food was rushed in the end and the order was wrong even though we’d repeated it back to the waiter twice to make sure. Food was quite basic and bland - I wouldn’t eat here again

I cannot comment on the food however having booked a set meal at Namaste via the OpenTable website I rang to try to increase the booking from 6 people. Whilst waiting for the restaurant to answer I could not open the menu on their own website so when the phone was answered I asked to double check that we could have the set menu for the booking.I was told that they do not do a set menu and when I queried this I was passed to another gentleman. I explained I had collected the money from my friends as per the opentable set menu and he told me that they would not do a set menu and had not done one for over 10 years.Having politely explained I was in a bit of a pickle as the Open Table website which I imagine they will have entered the details on to clearly stated that they do I was told to email the manager but not to expect a reply as he is a very busy man. When I asked if I could speak to the manager I was told he wasn't there but they would pass my details on for him to ring me. I heard nothing back and have cancelled the booking and transferred it to another Nepalese restaurant that will do a set menu.I am sure the food is good but the service I received over the phone was very poor. their own website does not take reservations (though it says it does) and the opentable one that does take reservations clearly states they serve food that the don't.

Ate here last night and will absolutely be going back. Delicious food, decent portions and really reasonably priced for the area. If you're looking for an unfussy, relaxed environment with good food - this is it! Definitely recommend the momos to start (far nicer than deep fried samosas etc) and the king prawn masala was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Go to this place regularly and the food is faultless every single time. My favourite curry house bare none!

Came here with 3 friends & we loved it! Extremely good value for money, particularly the Nepal main courses. The staff were incredibly nice too. Definitely worth going.

Very good quality authentic Nepalese food... babe the nostalgic feels... also the menu offers a lot of options.. Great food and very good service. Momos were just ok

·

Great Nepalese food in Didsbury, highly recommend the chwela, kantipur methi and khorsani (all are spicy so not great for those wanting something tame). Service can be hit and miss at times, however the owner is wonderful and always makes the effort to greet his return guests.

Good service and tasty food. Portion sizes isn’t huge either but enough for one. Naan bread was very soft and delicious. I would recommend the chilli paneer if you like paneer and the peswari naan was a delight.
