Excellent service with very tasty food, 2nd time we have visited and both times the food has been good

Highly recommend this authentic Persian restaurant, hidden away in West Didsbury. I really appreciated the plastic screens between tables (visited mid Jan 2021). The pomegranate mixed kebab was beautifully marinated, and the morghe alouie was a new dish to me but delicious. Kookoo was really great too.

Amazing food, authentic Persian restaurant. Loved the mirza starter and the lamb shank shorba with broadbean rice.

First visit today. Delicious food well presented with attentive and friendly service. Reasonably priced. Happy to recommend. We will happily come back again.

A fantastic discovery and my new favourite restaurant. Delicious. We shared Hummus and Marchobeh with Feta; couldn’t stop staying ‘yummmm’!

We ordered a takeaway and we were delighted at the quality and taste of the entire meal. The food was packaged well and wrapped up in foil so that it stayed warm. We would highly recommend the Mirza starter, the Prawn Kebab and the lamb shank! We thought the prawn kebab would be dry, but it arrived in a tasty mango sauce, and the meat on the lamb shank was cooked to perfection - soft and tender. We will definitely be ordering another takeaway soon!

We had two vegetarian dishes and they were lovely and great taste. Portion size was reasonable and the rice was top quality!I struggled to hear the pain on the phone when I made the order, she wasn't very clear, but food was ready on time and hot!

At last an Iranian restaurant that makes stews as good as a Persian mum! As Persian immigrants, my husband and I feel blessed to have this amazing restaurant in our city, especially on those busy days we’re homesick with no time to cook our old favourites. Truly authentic (except that they don’t serve chips with Gheimeh, please do!). An amazing spot, they’ve even got pomegranate wine, which tastes heavenly with their Fesenjoon stew. If you like kebab though, your choices are limited, they only have two kinds, no Koobideh. Nevertheless, highly recommend this place. Make sure to book a table, especially on weekends when it’s usually packed.

My friends and I visited Pomegranate last Saturday. The restaurant is cosy creating a great atmosphere, the staff extremely friendly and the food is absolutely divine! I had the Lamb Miveh which was mouth watering ! Highly recommended by us!

A family vibe small sized restaurant reasonably priced. Staff are nice and helpful and the service is quick. Kebabs and rice are very good but I think their lamb shank could be much more interesting.
