Rosso Restaurant and Bar in Manchester

This is truly a gem of a place with great quality food in Manchester. Friendly staff, cool environment which was decorated both inside and outside and super quality food was all it took them to hook me into their restaurant. It was absolutely phenomenal. Service was exceptional and the food was sensational and the decor was quite elegant.This isn't the cheapest Italian restaurant, but you will definitely get what you pay for. The lobster crostini and the chocolate sphere deserts being particularly delicious!I also had the truffle sausage pasta dish and my mum chose the prawn one. The profiteroles are the best ones I’ve ever ever had, but the highlight was the banana creme brûlée - incredible!I can't wait to return to this restaurant on my next trip to Manchester. It is a restaurant which is a great value for money; Recommend 💯

This really is a special place to go if you want amazing food. The building itself is very grand. And the carrots.... I don't believe I have ever recommended carrots to anyone. If the chef can make the carrots taste like chicken then they deserve 5 stars for that alone .

The worst customer service I have ever experienced!!!It was supposed to be a special occasion and we left feeling life dirt due to the horrendous customer service.I’ve been to the restaurant Many times over the last 6 years and it has always been fantastic. Since the revamp other than the decor everything has gone down hill.The bar staff were excellent but the hostesses ruined the whole experience. They basically said our custom wasn’t good enough and refused to apologies for us waiting for over an hour for our table. We then left without being seated.Luckily there is Grant Pacific across the road who welcomed us in and said this was a regular occurrence.Restaurant suggestions which are the same vibe: Firefly, Grand Pacific, Yours (cheaper), AustralAsia.I genuinely hate moaning but this had to be done so other people don’t have the same experience!!!

Lovely customer service. Flavour of the food was delicious. Only issue was steak was a bit too tough, even though it was pink on the inside…I asked for medium, next time I will try medium rare

Amazing service and food .... the atmosphere on Saturday night was lively and everyone in there was having a brilliant time. It was my birthday and as a gesture the staff brought me a choux bun with Happy Birthday piped on in chocolate. Had the pate, lasagna then profiteroles, so tasteful .... the profiteroles were huge LOL. The others said they steaks etc were cooked to perfection. Need to book in advance for weekend table but well worth the wait, highly recommended.Just an UPDATE ..... 4 of us went again 5th January for another fabulous meal and again exceptional food and service. Ordered starters, for main we had steak, chicken, pizzas served with fries. mushrooms etc. etc. Had some great desserts ..... was so filling. Will be going again, book your table in advance.

Lovely place ! Beautiful Christmas decorations! I would really recommend for a posh treat!Food was delicious we had the set Christmas lunch. Everyone cleared their plates! Waiters fantastic topping up our drinks and couldn't have asked more!Only criticism was the veg for our meals was cold, but still I would give it a 5 stars as every other aspect was outstanding and it didn't effect the overall experience!

Highly recommended. Had Christmas menu and the food and service were first rate. The environment is lovely. The place is stunning inside and a lovely environment to eat in. Would defnitely visit again if I return to Manchester.

Really great experienceAll the food was delicious and staff was always around ready to take drink and food orders even though the place was packed.Would definitely recommend to others however with great food and service comes a bill to match, but definitely worth it as a treat.

Nice restaurant. Best carbonara I've ever had. Tiramisu needs work, it's really not good at all. Great staff and very attentive.

Delicious food, good service. My only concern was that there were no vegan desserts apart from the sorbet, although even that tasted yummy. Would definitely recommend a visit.
