Rump N Ribs in Manchester

Well impressed with the ambiance, the ribs were off the charts complemented with the perfect bbq sauce, The Angus burger well still wondering why I paid extra for cheese a bit annoying but the brioche was welcomed, the burger size and taste 8/10 which is pretty high loved it, it’s a shame they use frozen steak cut chips, it would have been great to have some freshly cut triple cooked chips…. But no, as for the service…..needs to improve had no check back on my table, even had to ask the the waiter to bring me more water when my glass was near empty and then I’ve got a pay a service charge for this? This should be completely voluntary not mandatory! Bonus they had Encona my favourite sauce.

Visiting from Glasgow. Positive elements were the atmosphere + quality of the accompaniments + lamb chops BUT the actual steaks were POOR.An anaemic char and absolutely no seasoning to the steaks. Ribs were also chewy.If these are fresh aged Scottish Steaks, then I'd recommed finding a better supplier. Anyone who knows anything about meat, would know how poor the meat quality was.

Although it had some chewy bits, the ribs were very tender and flavourful. The T-Bone was just right, juicy and tender and the mushroom sauce complemented it well. The prawns were great and the overall service excellent. We were promptly seated and served. Highly recommended.

Food was ok but well over priced. The stakes don't come with anything even sauce is extra. Service was average nothing extra ordinary and they still charge you 10% service charge. Won't recommend it to anyone.

Mainly just chicken but it’s places like this that help me get some red meat inPlease don’t change nothingValue for money … I challenge you to find a bigger steak cheaper … anywhere else this tastySee you soon

Food was god dam amazing and the kitchen was immaculate. really really happy with the service which was on hand but not fussy and in your face every minute. Manager Asif was so hot on everything, spotting every last detail and putting it in it’s place. We just happened upon this place so we were extra thrilled. Also (and this is very important to me) the toilets were in amazing condition. If you like your food or are just passing, pop in.

Absolutely Loved my visit to Rump N Ribs Steakhouse. We visited on a Friday evening and it was very busy. Luckily we were given a table so I would definitely recommend booking next time.FANTASTIC FOOD - Enjoyed the Ribs as starter and steaks were cooked perfectly! Even the sides and the mushroom sauce was full of flavour.Will definitely be visiting again when I travel up to Manchester again.EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE.A Big Thanks

Great experience at this place. The waiter and waitress were so friendly and nice. The manager was friendly as well! i ordered soup for starter the famous ribs for main. i couldn’t finish the ribs because the portion were so big. they served 4 ribs per portion. i was starving at that time but still couldn’t finish it. i suggest you guys to order it as starter and get something else for main. the ribs were tasty! and i love the passion fruit mojito. this place is totally recommended 👍🏼

I've been to Rump n Ribs when it used to be on Oxford Street, and the new place is really nice. Nice decor and next to Akbars. The food we had tasted good, but was let down by poor quality. The buffalo wings had lots of feathers left on them. So many black shrivelled hairs that we had to pull off which ruined the experience, even though the taste was good. The ribs were on point, but we asked for a medium cooked steak, and got it well done. The steak tasted good as did the sauce, but it was tougher because it had been overcooked. The mocktail was nice, but quite sweet. No staff asked how the meal was too, which was a shame, but don't think I'll be going back.
