We were waiting over an hour for our food and when queried about the order the staff member was extremely rude. Their reasoning was that it was busy but we (customers) could clearly see that they were not busy at all. The staff member said “if you’re hungry, don’t come to a busy restaurant!” The service is truly shocking. Whoever is managing this place needs to retrain the staff members properly so they can provide good basic customer service. So if you want to get served disrespect and attitude, I highly recommend this place.

Use to be a lovely restaurant with authentic Pakistani dishes, but now the standards are very poor. Place was untidy and dated, staff and customer service poor and the food was terrible, so much salt in curries that it was inedible. Complained to the manager who said that is how they cook. Will never return, which is a shame as we use to go every time visited Manchester..

Really good tasty food. Buffet had plenty of choice with no wastage. Well priced! Most of all friendly, polite staff offering great service. Brought over extras so thank you...

Wanted to give 5 stars for my lovely experience with my first visit. Unfortunately not satisfied with the take out experience as one item was missing when I checked the package when I reached home. Felt really disappointed. But when I went there for the next time to claim my missing item, the experience was terrible. I explained the situation to the same staff who took the order and he was like suspecting me that I'm claiming it falsely. Later I showed him the bank debit and then only he was convinced. This was so frustrating. Didn't even say a sorry for the missing item that day and he put onus on me to prove that the item was missing. Also he said he's not the one who took the order and all.One bad experience doesn't mean that its a bad restaurant. But yes, this is my feedback to the management. Hope they takes it seriously.

Sanams restaurant is one of the finest Pakistani restaurants in not just Manchester, but in the UK. I have travelled up and down the country and tried many different Pakistani establishments. Sanams has great food, great customer service and are proud of their Pakistani roots.Based in the heart of Manchester, the curry mile - This is a MUST visit for anyone looking to visit Manchester, or for anyone within Manchester who wishes to find Halal Pakistani curries, burgers, biryani, fish, karahi and many other Pakistani dishes.I will definitely be recommending Sanam to all my friends and relatives.

Abysmal..where to beginWait was down for 8 mins, then 10 mins, then to half and hour and finally 45 mins just to get seated. Had to pester the owner for ever 10 to 15 mins he seemed like he didnt care. Then finally seated ordered the food which took just over 1 hour to arrive and some of the stuff wasnt available on the menu. Food came steak was as pink as Miss Piggy the mix veg was nice but chips were a small portion. The coke was like water no fizz or anything which they gave in a jug. When the bill came they charged for the salad even. No apologies, no care, no decency at all. Also tried to charge us for something we did not have. First time i came here years ago was good but now no chance ...only gets 2 stars for the veg and the waiting area which i saw alot of.

We went to Manchester specially to taste Pakistani cuisine. And Sanam didn't disappointed us. We ordered lamb karhai, paaya, beef Steak, b.bq mix platter and chicken pasta. Everything was really good but only the portion of lamb karhai was really less otherwise taste was good. Atmosphere was really good and so is the staff.
