This indian restaurant in Manchester is a little hidden gem. A very different decor style, photos of old bollywood movies, sewing machines and totally unique. You feel like you entered a movie scene. There is an ncp carpark across the road. The restaurant has alot of indoor and outdoor seating area. It can feed over 150 people, and there is a private booth in the middle. The menu is vast, original and caters for all. You must have the shahi chips, best I have ever had. The curries are well flavoured and I will surely be going back here.Ideal for special occasions.Salim Patel

First time dining here, decorate ok atmosphere ok, service very good, but the high(£180.00) cost of the food did not reflect what I had, will not rushing back here very soon.

The starters were nice however the mains were disappointing. Tried it with a friend because heard a lot about this place but wasn’t impressed. Cost £60 for 2 of us we ordered 2 starters 2 mock tails 1 main with 2 naan’s and a portion of chips ( which were tiny). Service was on point but the food not so much.

Really disappointing. Ordered this for takeaway (on Deliveroo). Awful portion sizes (apart from the naans which are giant, but underwhelming). Paid £4.95 for some chicken tikka as a side, literally 4 small bits of really dry chicken (shown in photo). Had a bit of my partners lamb chops, the entire meat on one of the pieces amounted to the size of a 50 pence piece. The one regular sized dish we ordered tasted okay but was full with globs of fat and gristle. Really poor quality and value. To top it off, I then found a thick white hair in my rice about halfway through my meal. Honestly put me off, it went straight in the bin. Such an unfortunate waste of food but I worry that hair in food is unhygienic.Would definitely not order again, sorry.

Amazing authentic taste of punjabi food really enjoyed the food and atmosphere lovely place for a romantic meal will be back again soon!

Overall nice restaurant and food. The starters were the highlight for us, very flavourful, could've had a full meal on just starters. The mains were underwhelming relative to the starters. Still nice food but not at the level I expected for Scene. Maybe we just chose the wrong dishes...Will be back to try more of the food for sure.

This place is actually huge. I was wondering if it would be possible to have a full evening mid week with so many tables, but it was super busy when I was there. The staff were friendly and efficient. However, we were waiting a while to pay our bill which was a bit annoying. It was very busy though, so I can understand why.The food was great. The menu is huge. Great choice, it actually has burgers on the menu, and I could see some people with something that looks like a deep dish quiche or something. They let you take your left overs home which I think is great, as I couldn't finish mine. Warning though, most things on the menu are 3 chillies, and they are quite spicy. Probably great for someone who can handle medium to hot but for people with sensitive taste buds they may struggle. The decor here is great, and there is a shesha bar at the front. Lots of great smells in the air. The only this I really think needs to change is the ladies toilets. When I went in, there were two cubicles with sanitary bins over flowing. Luckily I had already eaten at this point. I understand that staff probably aren't coming in and out of here all the time, but I think it needs a bit more attention. All in all, I'd definitely go back.

Visited the restaurant on a Thursday evening. The ambiance was good and the food was also good. Would definitely recommend the food. The mocatails are definitely worth a try.Gave a 4 star as plate was dirty and needed replacing and also 1 item I ordered didn't come and got charged for it. I pointed it out to the waiter and he didn't even offer to remove the item from the bill.Overall definitely worth the visit.

Driving back from Scottish Highlands to London we took a pit stop in Manchester.Making it to Manchester just a few minutes before midnight , we were elated to be accommodated by the staff even when the kitchen had closed.Their manager Kasha was an absolutely gracious host who not only accommodated us at midnight but served us with the most delectable Indian food I’ve eaten in a long long time.

Beautiful place - enjoyed my first experience at Scene. Service, Quality of food and decor was 10/10. A quick prompt service also the waiters were ever so lovely and got us whatever additional things we may have required. To top it off the weather was beautiful so it was nice eating outdoor. Everything was delicious - couldn’t fault it. Thank you guys for a great service.
